Case forwarded on 12 Sept but DHL site says "no shipments found"!

Finally after 2 weeks of waiting and calling nvc non-stop an operator has finally informed me that my case has been forwarded to Islamabad embassy on the 12th....but when I try to track it on the DHL site by typing "EXP 12 SEP 2009A" in the reference area I get an error msg at the top of the page that says "No shipments found. Please revise criteria and resubmit."

I chose to stay with the default shipment pickup date range for today....the 14th. Which is "From: Aug 30 2009 - To: Sep 14 2009"

I even tried other dates like the 11th, 13th and 14th but same msg for 13 and 14........I did get a list for the 11th but there were no shipments to Islamabad in the entire list.

What am I doing wrong......was the operator lying???

Your Interview Scheduled date is 09-01-09, I guess you should use "EXP 01 SEP 2009A" as a reference value.

right....but nvc tells me that they hadn't forwarded it right away....in fact I called today and they're saying they sent it out on the 12th, so IDK if using sep 01 would be correct...since they hadn't sent it out back then...

call nvc back and reconfirm the date just to be sure.

you are not alone. same experience here

12 and 13 dhl dates dont work since , i think, they were on weekend and dhl did not pick up. I am not sure why the operator would say 12th.

yes , dates of Sep 10,11 produce some result but nothing went to Kathmandu on those days either. however, if you look carefully on the 11th results, you will notice Ship Date to be September 14.

On the other hand if you look in Sep 9 results there is one package sent to Kathmandu. I have been trying to find out myself. However, this mornign a lady operator told me , it was shipped out on 14th. There is no data of 14th that says Kathmandu. Howerver the package that was sent on the 9th did arrive in KTM embassy on 14th. So that makes me wonder if the operators are giving out the arrival date, rather than the shipping date.

Need to confirm tomorrow...

Just called nvc and the operators still keep insisting that it was sent out on the 12th and not any time earlier for sure...even though I pointed out that would be a weekend but nope...they still insist it was the 12th....and dhl site is still showing no shipments found for the 12th. Although....I just checked using the 14th and voila (no doubt it's our package weighing in at a whopping 12.0 lbs baby!! thats ours for sure..lol)there it was.....though it's still in transit and will probably take another 3-4 days to get to the embassy......but who cares.....finally what a relief woohoooooooo!!

hmmmm....I get the feeling we're both tracking the same package. oh well....ours could very well have been sent together because the shipment weight is 12lbs and I know for a fact that my entire pckg is 9-10lbs...so yours could very well be in there.

lol, you're tellin' me.....I sent just about any and everything I could get my hands on as proof...and 3 copies each of all of it, incl. all of the photos and even the very insignificant small things just to be careful. I did this for my petition packet and also for my 3 packets to nvc....aos,iv and also rfe packets. I added up the weight of each one and it all added upto round-about 9-11lbs, give or take a few lbs approx.
