How long does this generally take? My case is being RFE'd for two very minor things (seems the CO is blind). The supervisor said 10-15 business days.

As many of you know, Montreal is beyond backlogged, so the sooner we're done, the sooner we get an interview.

Hey Mal...

I don't have the answer for you BUT I do know that the time frame they give is usually on over exaggeration so... it'll be cleared up sooner than you think providing you give them the info they want.

Sorry this happened to you, girl... you have my support, k? This whole thing is difficult as it is without extra bits of loser-land, right?

Chin up, Mal...

Just wanted to give you some words of optimism...

Thanks lady.

I gave them the information and explanation they wanted over the phone - which is why it's going to be reviewed by a supervisor. The RFE's were for:

1) On co-sponsor's I864, the CO wanted 21C to be listed as 1 - married. I explained to the supervisor that my grandma is a widow. She is not married, therefore, the household is 2, not 3.

2) On my own I864, question 15 asks for country of domicile. My current country of domicile is Canada - as put on there. The CSR claims that per their records, the question is blank. As I copied the entire package on the day I sent it out, I know that isn't the case. I told the supervisor this. She asked me about question 13 - Place of Residence and what I had put. I told her I put "n/a" because my place of residence isn't different from my mailing address - which is Canada.

Sooo.. we'll see.

Thanks, Sdw. I requested to speak to a supervisor (which you can do) and she had me tell her the info then she sent it on. Kinda nice that that option is available.

I think that if I don't hear anything by Friday that I am going to scan the information with an explanation letter and email it to them.
