I'm filling out the I-134 and eventhough my annual income exceeds poverty level, there is also a line for my deposit in savings bank as well as personal property. Regarding my savings do I have to provide documentation letter from the bank, bank statement? and for personal property I just bought a brand new car, will that count as personal property? or does it only mean real state?

Thanks,

Rayito

If your income exceeds the guidelines by a comfopratbale margin, you can leave the rest blank. Cars are not always considered an asset, but if they are it is the wholesale value, minus any amount owed divided by 3 for the asset value (to offset income) and then they have to determine the car can be sold within a year and without hardship to the family. Better to qualify with income if you can. Bank information is also optional.
