Anyone have experience or know someone that has done a early walk in Biometric at ST Louis field office. I realize you have to have your ASC letter in hand but have seen where some VJers are able to go their local office and do their biometric early just by showing up and walking in, would be nice and help on work schedule and save extra trip so wanted to check and see if anyone had success recently doing this in St Louis field office?

:unsure:

I did last December. I used the ASC letter and had travelling arrangements pending.

Just got back from doing EARLY WALK UP at ST LOUIS USCIS offices on Sept 21, 2009 at 8:10 am.

At front door entrance, had to go to the left line through security checkpoint, empty pockets, then go through metal detector and wand, then another officer puts white Visitor pass sticker on your shirt, and then free to go wherever you want in building, NO ONE asked to see biometric letter or infopass letter for appointment and no one wanted to know why we were there.

After Security checkpoint, turned immediately to our right and headed over 30-40 feet to ASC office, opened door and waltzed right up to counter desk, there were no people waiting in there at all, it was empty. Went to counter asked for help, explained we wanted early biometric done and was told no problem, then 5-7 minutes later, after filling out clipboard form and taking pics and fingerprints, out of there.

If ever I will finally hear from them, I will try doing the early bio too... which I hope will work or David will hang me upside down since it's going to be a 3-hr ++ drive for us.

@ZQT3344,

It's funny that 2 years ago, we were both there for the Bio and didn't have any idea that we both belong here in VJ. Small world!

Yeah, that office is fairly simple. We were never in there longer then 10 minutes.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Yes I did it. No problem, just headed right into the room of biometrics(I think it was rm # 222), cannot remember number of room but it was on the first floor and as soon as you go through front door security checkpoint, hang a immediate right and it is across the lobby, first room on right. Walked in to ladies at desk counter and showed them my biometric letter, asked if I could do this early since I was not going to be able to make it in on the date of my biometric letter due to work and they said sure no problem, and in like 3 minutes or so they did the biometric and I was in and out of there. Now this was almost a year ago in early Sept 2009, they were allowing this, currently I do not know if they still do, so if you have to drive very far to get there you might want to call first and check to see if still allowed to do this or ask someone else with more recent experience. :star:

Thanks for the response, I actually walked in today, they are really really nice and pleasant in this office, I asked if I can do it early, she said you have to wait for everybody already checked in but sure, There was about 10 people there so I decided to wait, in less than 40 minutes I was out, now hoping this will actually expedite things "fingers crossed"
