we have a lot of stress because she wants me to get back to Peru to visit and the costs are making that difficult. we talk almost every single day (thank god for vonage), but rarely ever have nothing to talk about. there is always planning, talking about the future, trying to understand each other's position on something. the last is especially important if one or the other was upset over something, to go back and explain the reason why and maybe some past experience that caused this specific reaction so your S/O can understand you even better.

We talked for 4-6 hours a day every day for almost 6 years (apart from when we were together in person), and never ran out of things to say. If we ran out of things to talk about, I'd be seriously worried about our compatibility. We are still learning new things about each other every day 8 years down the line. I'd get bored if we knew absolutely everything about each other - how is that possible?...isn't the fun finding out?

We rarely run into a time when we have nothing to say!

I think the problem that we both face is getting sick of the DAMN computer.

I will be so happy when we are together because the biggest problem I face is the fact that I get up at 5:30 everyday..work 10 hours..come home, have some dinner, talk to Chris, who stays up late himself so we get time to talk, and then maybe a load of laundry and some dishes, I am so tired that I really don't get any exercise in...This week I feel so lazy!!

I am lucky I really am. I don't see how some of you do it. Chris and I travel back and forth every 6-8 weeks. Normally about a week before he arrives or vice versa I have a little whinny break down of missing him.

Ok, lately, the tension is a little less. I have been sharing some jokes with him, we've been talking about the wars going on, and many other things. Forever ago, he had to get me to come outta my shell. I was completely shy. We've been together almost 3 years, and this year was a "new beginning" being that we also met this year. With all you VJ'ers help, I've come outta my shell a little more. It's not that we had NOTHING to say, but we needed a boost on more topics, and a little shove to get the ball rolling again. Thanks to all this, it's built up the romance from his side. Thanks for your support! I love you guys. :luv:

We talked about the Big Issues, the small issues and the inbetween stuff... everything from each other's views on nuclear disarmament and global warming down to what we were having for dinner... when we didn't have anything in particular to talk about I'd tell him about what I was watching on television or read him a story, and we'd talk about his foster-kittens for hours on end... sometimes it descended to 'I love you, I love you, I love you' because we didn't have anything to say, but in the end we'd find something. And we'd rather be with each other exchanging inanities than not be with each other at all.
