Hi,

I have just received my Biometrics appointment letter in the mail and the date they have scheduled for me isn't too good. I am wondering if anyone in Charlotte, NC has tried for an early walk-in appointment with success?

I didn't try an early walk-in, I looked into it and couldn't find out if it was possible.....I can tell you though that when I had my appointment earlier this month there were very few people in there and I was in and out in 10 minutes. Good luck if you try!

Awesome, appreciate your reply!!! I guess I will walk-in. Just googled the location and it's only 17 minutes from where we live so I guess no harm trying! :) Was your appointment in the morning? Just trying to figure the best time of the day to go...

Mine was at 2pm, but I arrived at 1.15pm and went straight in, no problems. Just be sure to take your marriage certificate and letter, plus the MSC numbers for EAD/I-485 as you need to put those on the form, also your SSN if you have one (don't worry if you don't).

my biometric appointment in NC Charlotte was Sept.26 and that was saturday. Only few us there and it took 10mins and im done.

08/21/09 ------- Mailed the AOS docs in USCIS (Chicago lockbox)

08/23/09 ------- AOS docs arrived @ USCIS signed by R. Mercedo.

08/27/09 ------- NOA for AOS,EAD & AP

08/28/09 ------- USCIS cashed check for $1,010

09/23/09 ------- Case transferred to CSC

09/26/09 ------- Biometric appointment. Thanks be to GOD

09/27/09 ------- EAD card production ordered

09/28/09 ------- EAD touched

09/30/09 ------- AOS touched

09/30/09 ------- USCIS mailed my notice of approval of AP

10/01/09 ------- AOS touched, initial review. EAD still on card production ordered
