Has anyone got a police report in less than 40 days?

well I applied for mine about 2 week ago and got a letter in a few dyas back from the police saying there were no records held of me.. i.e i have no police record ( good little lass )

OMG GREAT NEWS -So my husband sent me his police record and its clear as any thing! Hes such a moron. He confessed to me that he was pulling my leg all along about everthing! I was a bit upset cause he made me stress over nothing. He found it funny. I did not find it funny one bit at first but I guess after a few minutes I was just so greateull that it was another one of his retarded pranks. I have been freaking out day and night for the past 40 something days and he finally fessed up that he has joking with me about the jail and being convicted when he was a kid!!!! No wonder he was so calm when I told him about him needing waivers and all these complications that could arrise. He would just say just say oh dont worry its not a big deal. I guess he got me good but still Im going to smack him when I see him!!!!!! You can imagine my emotins went from and my hubby was like this all along

From the many other posts on this topic i think you are in for the wait. I applied yesterday. I wont be holding my breath. It seems 38/39/40 is the usual. Its almost amzing-what do they do? set a timer and the when the alarm goes on the 36th day print the paper and send it 2nd class????? It can't be that hard!

I agree with you J&C, just to clarify, I sent mine off on April 4th 06, and received it back on 14th May 06 39 days!
