I did but they want one going back to the age of 14

Paul and I met on the Bazaar on the 14th January (he joined my progressive rock forum that day)

July 3rd he flew to England to meet me

We fell in love while he drove all over the place coz I cannot read maps (we were supposed to go to Ingleton - but touched Darlington 4 times, Pierce Bridge 6 times, Scotch Corner twice and Bernard Castle twice and we never did make it to Ingleton)

It has been so long and so much has happened in between...

Arrived in Houston on October 29th 2006

Married 17th November 2006

Lost my father 8th January 2007 (all dates are a blur after this)

Conditional Green Card dated 24th October 2007

OH damn are you serious? who said they require one going back till the age of four? Damn now im worried and my hubby was a troble maker in his teens sorted him self out as an adult. He asked for his police record since may 17 2006 in london and its been way over 40 days and nothing as of yet. I thought the record just needed to be a simple record to see if you had any past convictions and what not but not all they way back till the age of 14? also i have heard that after 10 years the small convivtions get erased any idea about this ...this true? Who said it has to be back till the age of 14?

The Consular Officer who conducted the interview... wants the police report dating back to 1970 - I was just 14 then - in fact it would start at 13 and a half years

Tom's took exactly 40 days. Also, for whoever asked if things are taken off don't count on it. I know of people who have had to file waiver petitions because of small offenses from 30 years or more ago. The thing we got denied for was technically a "spent crime" in the UK according to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. He got a 100 pound fine at the time.. and a visa denial 9 years later.

It took 38 days for me  Good Luck!

Love hurts

When you live an ocean away

When you change your sleep schedule to catch a few more moments

When you really need to be held and you have to imagine whilst your partner describes it

When you constantly refresh the USCIS website to see if you're getting any closer

Love Loves

When it repays you with the love of your life

When God finally answered your biggest prayer

When you can live life again in the real world but still have that eternal connection

When you wake up for to the beginning of the rest of your life with the person you fought so hard for

When you love somebody that much

You'll do anything

Try writing to them here: PublicAccessOffice@met.police.uk

I must add that they are very prompt about responding...
