Yaay! The embassy called On and made the interview appointment in 2 weeks (Sep 28)

We're still waiting on the police report. Bangkok police said that should arrive on the 22nd or 23rd. We returned the paperwork without it.

I thought it would take a lot longer. The embassy site (and other VJ'ers also I think) said appointments were scheduled about 4-6 weeks out.

What happens if we don't get the police report before the interview? Interview without it and just bring it in when we get it ?

On sent in all the paperwork that was asked for except the medical and police report. I told her to do that cause I was tired of waiting and it was makin me crazy

Timeline says 159 days from NOA 1.

NOA2: July 23, 2009.

Intervew: Sep. 28, 2009 APPROVED

I arrive BKK Oct 29.

They will most likely give you a blue slip listing the missing documents and give you time to turn them in.

Good luck Alan and On! Thanks for posting this info. My lawyer had indicated only two weeks or so to get interviews right now in Bangkok, so this is great news to confirm that info. Please be sure to post an interview summary. Thanks a bunch!

Ya, well... if I'd known it was only a 2-week wait I would've planned on buying plane tix for early october to go see my baby after the interview. Thought I'd have 6 weeks or so to plan that.
