maybe my case is on the desk of slow reader.. i know calm down and breath... but it hurts waiting just to find out if it is approved ....I know i still have a few months more after that but i just want to know something now.....

sorry to vent but no one here(around me) really understands the process of waiting , just fellow VJers.......

It is very frustrating to see people who applied after you did who get their approvals. I had the same thing happen when we applied for our K-1 visa. It seemed to take a ridiculous amount of time for our approval, being as we were a very straight-forward case with no reasons to slow down our approval.

Unfortunately, there really is no rhyme nor reason to how and when USCIS approves petitions. It's basically a waiting game, but just remember that eventually you will get your approval too. Just try to keep busy and keep focused.

Best wishes for your approval soon.

Yes it does hurt to see this happen, but you know what things can get worse like being stuck in AP for 25 days and not understand why, or losing your case altogether, or putting someone else's A# on your NOA2 or being RFE for something you didn't include, or having to wait a year for an approval. You MUST stay positive and let things take their course or else this process will make you nuts.. Take it from a person who knows.

I sincerely wish you all the best... God speed!!!!

Quite frankly, I don't blame you for calling. Personally, I don't know if it's out of submissive fear or what, but I think too many of us just sit back and accept what USCIS dishes out. You paid for a service and you deserve an adequate answer. Case in point.....It certainly didn't take them 5 months to cash our checks did it? Does it take them 5 months to answer the telephone when we call? If more of us actually called and inquired about the status of our cases perhaps we would see more movement and action.

Good for you and don't let up on your persistence
