In 1994 I started brewing beer... and in the beginning I would use malt, which you can get at brewing supply stores... every once in awhile, I would make malts or cover it in chocolate.... yummy... then I grew into malting (mashing) my own barely so I never bought any more malt after that.... the beer is much much better... but you dont have malt laying around the house anymore
