Hi all, Mom is great and I'm having a lot of fun just relaxing right now while I search for a job... well I still want a job really bad so I hope to get more applications today and just work wherever within biking distance.

Liz your daughter is adorable!

Lee I think a miniature Eiffel Tower wedding sounds very nice!

Maire.. haven't read that article but I did read an article relating a gene that generates bad vision and higher IQ. So little kids with glasses probably have an average of 6 or higher IQ than those that don't.

Everyone else that I don't know your topic of the day/morning HI and how are ya?

Aw, thank you!

I'll answer your question :D.

I think that humans are inherently bad.. People in the very animalistic sense are out for dominance and to survive. Even from the hunters and gatherers it was like this. Survival is the basic instinct of any human or animal and to get there is the choice of each human. I definitely see people that are very good and do many good things *ahem February family* but it seems the average person has it out for themselves solely.

Jamie - Thanks...she's a stinker but she's MY stinker..lol!

Maire - Haven't read the article either but I don't think it's true...I would lean more toward the idea like Derek of IQ being genetic but then I look at my daughter and I'm not sure how true that would be since both of her bioligical parents weren't that smart....could it be more a case of what they are exposed to as they grow up? For example...I have exposed Jessie to so many learning opportunites as she's grown up and now, she is a straight A student for the 2nd year in a row.

Hugs, Liz

I think we are both. Good or Evil again i think it is a variety of things. Genes, up bringing, environment. But I think for the most part we are good. We just want to eat, hump and be happy. Society takes responsibility for the rest!

I like this perspective on it too.

Off to the shower and a doctor appointment for me! Little worried but I think it'll all be ok.. Take care all!

Maire,

I think people are generally good. I'll side with Derek's definition. Obviously in dire situations people will look out for themselves, but in everyday situations people generally want to do the right thing. Look throughout history and see how people have been able to grow as communities. Of course there are exceptions and that is always going to be a problem when we try and put people into one type or the other. In conclusion people = good.

Everyone turned out to have more faith in human kind than me.. hmm.

Doctor appointment was fine and I really like this new doctor! I've been through so much garbage with my health that usually wasn't even the right diagnosis.. aah. As of now just the gluten problem and no worries about my blood sugar like the last lady thought.. woot!

I am glad to hear it Jamie. Have you had health problems other than gluten before? Nothing serious I hope.

Thanks :) I have had lots of issues in the past and have recently found out in the past 7-8 months that it's gluten/wheat allergy. Now that I'm staying away from it I'm doing much better and feel great. Not too serious, I'm healthy now.
