Good morning everybody.

I got an e-mail from the embassy stating that they have received all of our documents and the case is "under review" which has never been a good thing before. I am however hopeful that this time it means it is actually with an officer being looked at. Either way I got a little peace of mind with the response that it was received and being reviewed. Hopefully you will only have to deal with me being insufferable for a little while longer.

I believe it to be as well. The way I see it is that it's at least progress.

I am happy to see the USCIS streamlining their operation. It comes a little too late for most of us, but I am very happy to see it for others who won't have to go through such a long wait for this process. i am in favor of government actually doing their job efficiently. I say this as I was looking at Igor's list and see how quickly people are getting approved. I am envious that it happened so fast for them, but at the same time we may not have gotten to know each other so well if it had happened so fast either. Just wanted to say thanks to all of you for being there for me.

I just got an e-mail from the embassy they have all of my documents and the review can take up to two weeks. Still at least now we have a deadline. I was hoping for something quicker, but you take what you get and hope that is the worst case scenario.

Sure you can... I dont see why not... but I am going to research it today... the ports have immigration officers and they deal with thousands of people very very quickly... so I think it is perfect actually....

And what makes you think I came in here yelling? But if it help... I gave myself the right :P

Lee, maybe now is the time to see if you can actually talk to the COs that do the interviews? Did Oksana get the name of the CO?

If she did... the direct email addy could be lastnamefirstinitial@state.gov which is how it works in Warsaw... just FYI :)
