im just worried because my coworker was telling me that people go to the courthouse in shorts and sandals to get married #######

If you want something inexpensive yet nice, you could always find an officiant that would go somewhere nice...like the beach or something like a Bed and Breakfast that has a nice garden they would allow you to use. That way you have something not terribly expensive yet still nice.

I have nooooooooooooooo idea. I have been looking for a little chapel but have not found any near by. The churches near us want us to do a marriage course before the will marry us, which I am not against, however, time does not really allow for that.

Then, of course there is the DAMN NOA2 we have to get first!!!!!

Have you looked at any thing like a B&B? That's where we are having ours and the lady that runs/owns it is a licensed minister and will be doing our ceremony.

No, not yet... I was thinking we could have it in the house, since we dont have any furniture in the living room... we'll see.... I aint planning another thing until I see a NOA2

Yeah, that's what we did. Once we got the NOA2 I made the arrangements.

It seems like if everything goes right, Natalia won't get here till early Jan . We were thinking of doing it on Feb 14th . Small... family and a few really close friends probably. Too bad it will be cold

From your lips to God's ears! Although, I really think the push to the end of the fiscal year puts us past the end of September... then God knows when they will get back to the unfortunate leftover people.

Not very well... she thinks its going to be another 6 months... but other than that I think she is doing ok with the wait. I told her the other day that she could come visit (since she misses me) but has declined as of now to take me up on it as she said she will wait some more. Her mom isnt feeling well, so nobody to watch the kids really... Maybe when Mom feels better if we dont have the NOA2 yet she will... She really hates to fly, especially alone...

I would go and visit her, but if I did, I dont think I could take time off to go for her interview and bring them back... which we both really want to do... so for now... we just wait.... *grumble*

Ugh...that stinks! I just hope whoever has your file at USCIS pulls there head out of their a$$ soon and get that approval sent!!!
