Good morning Liz. How are you. Richard it's good to see you up so early. Hows the search going?

I saw a Feb 2010 post and I just laughed a little to myself. Hard to believe it has been a year already.

Mornin' Lee, good to see you here and glad that things are progressing with your father inlaw (to be). The search is going... it is a difficult environment to be looking for a job and then looking for a home for 10 of us is a lot harder... but, it is what it is... :)

I saw Feb 2010 as well... and kind of chuckled too...

Mornin' Liz... and your tm :)

Richard are you still in New York? How ar Joanna and the kids doing?

Liz I saw that you and Pat filed for your AOS, did you do EAD as well?

Lee, no, I am back in Atlanta. Joanna, kids and I are doing fine. Set the date (in case you missed it) Feb 19th. We bought our wedding bands yesterday. Gosh, it feels strange to have a ring on my finger... even though I only wore it for like an hour :)

You doing ok buddy? I can't imagine after all you and Oksana has been through...

hugs!

To be honest Richard it sucks, but what can you do. I am glad that her father is getting better, but she is worried about what will happen when he gets out of the hospital. She is looking for some sort of home care for him. It is a wait and see game. This process has certainly tested my patience and my resolve. It hasn't broken me and we are still looking forward to being together. I like to think this is making us stronger as a couple. I do however find myself bouncing off of the walls when I go to bed at nights. The anticipation of not sleeping alone makes it difficult to sleep. Other than that I am doing fine.

I can only imagine, my friend and say that you 3 are in our prayers! Joanna asks about you all the time :)

We actually haven't gotten it sent off yet.....we're stuck waiting for the lab results from his doctor's visit last Friday. Once we have that then it'll be sent off. And we are for sure doing EAD as well...he's got cabin fever soooooooooooo bad right now! :(

Hugs, Liz

Liz hopefully it won't be too much longer for you.

Richard congrats. The 19th will be here so quickly. I am sure you'll get used to the ring pretty easily. I think I will to or at least I hope so.

As for us we were talking of wedding plans we decided to scrap the original plans and go to a vegas style chapel with about 10 people and then have a big party at our house. With the money we save we can stay in Vegas longer and will now get to see the grand canyon.

Thanks Lee, I hope it's all done by this weekend!

And love the new plans...sounds like you'll have a lot of fun!

Good morning Liz.

How is Pat doing with his cabin fever? Is he done with the home improvement already?

Hi Lee!

He's dealing with it...lol! He's been able to be out doing a few more things the last week or so since we got our tax refund and had a bit more money. The home improvements have been on hold for a bit with all the rain and cold we've been having. We're hoping by the end of this month it will start getting nice again and we can start back up with it all.

Mind if I rant for a minute? I'm sooooooooo pissed at the civil surgeons office......we have been waiting since Friday for the lab results to come back so they would finish the papers and we could get the AOS mailed off. WELLLLL....Pat got a call yesterday afternoon.....they LOST HIS BLOODWORK!!! The results should have been back today but it took them until yesterday to realize they didn't have his bloodwork....I'm so ticked I could rip someone at that office to shreds!!!! Pat is going back this morning to redo it and they darn well better expedite it and have the papers to us SOON!

Ok...rant over...

You doing ok, sweetie?

Hugs, Liz
