HI all! I moved into my new place on Sunday and Lampros is finishing up some paperwork as the days go until he flies back to the North of Greece to get the FINAL ARMY PAPERRRRSSS!!! WOOT! The papers will take a little bit to get to him and then everything will fall in place and we'll get him scheduled for an interview! I missed talking to him so much, it's wonderful just to talk on cam without a worry!! I can't wait til he gets here, it will be heavenly..!

We just got a letter today that said She is approved and will receive her temporary Green Card within 3 weeks.

Finally got him enrolled yesterday... his first day was today! 2 days short of a month of them being here (including holiday)

Yeah, it is probably a good thing but a bit sad too...I miss everyone!

I guess I didn't realze they had been here that long Richard.

Now for me to rant a little. Weddings are the single most ridiculous thing I have ever planned for in my life. Which is even more difficult in giving that Oksana isn't here and I am sure this stuff means more to her than me. It has already been decided that we couldn't do a courthouse wedding for her mom or my family, which is fine. I just can't believe what all goes into these things. Not to be too sexist, but there are certain things a man shouldn't have to do. This is certainly one of them. As I begin looking at places I realize I am in way over my head. While I understand the "unity candle" I have no clue what the sand thing is. Sheer nonsense if you ask me. Not to mention if the word wedding is in the title the cost escalates by like 50%. AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH

I think a low key wedding is the best idea, we'll do a court wedding first because we have no idea when he'll come, then something a LITTLE bigger later, nothing extravagant. There's a girl at work getting married and is spending thousands of dollars on her wedding, I just can't get that. Oh well, people are as they are.

I don't know what sand does either? Are cats involved in weddings these days??

We're thinking about 2 weeks til he'll have all the paperwork gathered to even go to the interview and that begins the 10th after he gets let out of the army. The army paper that says he's done the blasted thing will take about 2 weeks to be sent to him, and its also important as the reason for the extension of the NOA2 and not having set an interview yet.
