I was the DD with some friends in town here and everyone went random places at 11:30. It was just me and another girl talking then the clock chimed and we go "oh #######.. happy new year!"

Yay

And.. I started moving into my new apartment today!

Morning Everyone!

Yeah all the time off is over! Back to the daily grind! My heat is broken at home and is is cold as ####### here! Have to get the repairman there today!

That sucks about your heat. What did you do with your time off?

My holidays were extremely uneventful, but relaxing. Unfortuantely, Alisa had to spend about 5 days in the hospital starting on New Years Eve she got back home today. The doctor is coming to Oksana's house tomorrow and will hopefully be able to get her plane tickets this week. I am hopeful that they will be here by the 30th of the month since I am going to South Florida that weekend.

We didn't do much. A few outings and chillin at home too. We saw Avatar in 3D friday. Real cool flick!

Lee - I agree...being back at work sucks..lol! Sorry to hear about Alisa...I hope she's fully recovered though!!

Derek - Yikes..I'd be dying without heat right now! Hope its nothing to serious!!

We worked both Wed and Thursday at the fireworks stand...my feet HATED me on Friday...lol! It was worth it though...looks like we'll make about 8000.00 for the school! Other than that..we just walked around a few stores and relaxed at home.

Thanks Liz. Alisa will be fine and it's just another annoying delay, but I was ecstatic to hear that she was back home this morning. After the doctor clears her tomorrow we can finally get plane tickets and I can finally relax. I am hopeful that this will all be over very soon now though. Wedding in March, but we'll have to see about that.

March in Florida will be all right. Perhaps even hot. It works with my school schedule though so thats why we are aiming for March 6 or 7. That way we can go to Las Vegas and I won't miss any classes. Plus if I am lucky the new Elvis themed Cirque du Soleil show will be open.

Richard how can you not be a fan of Elvis? Plus I have already seen three Cirque shows. Since most of the stuff we do in Vegas will be more for Oksana I should get a little something for myself. Trust me if it were me the honeymoon would consist of a hut somewhere in the woods with a bed. The bed could be optional, but since I doubt that drips of romance like Vegas does thats where we are going.
