According to the rules you are supposed to file for AOS before the I-94 expires to keep him in legal status. However, I have heard from several people that it is OK to go beyond that point.

Basically, if he gets in trouble or something he has not proof of being legal until he gets the I-757 NOA 1. That the form you get after filing for AOS.

AOS is pretty simple.. Just the Paperwork and the medical.. I-693..unless you have DS-3025

Also, does anyone know of what center I would be associated with now? On the fiance letter of intent will I just continue to put Vermont even though now I'm in Washington? They've already documented my move.

Then your local would be in WA... But you still send AOS to Chicago! Ours was sent to CSC! So Vermont is probably going to only serve you until Your SO arrives.

Lucky you!! I have to work 1/2 day tomorrow and then just have Friday off. Only working 3 days next week though so that works... :-)
