Thank you Chelsie.

Liz I don't know how long DHL will hold it for her. I will ask her tonight when I talk to her.

I am a bit jaded about the AOS process just because we were already in AP twice. Everybody says that NVC just passes it through and they didn't. The interview part was kind of our fault, but we were still in AP for 2 months there. I am hopeful that won't be the case, but it is in the back of my mind.

I would, Lee.....not sure how it is there but I know places like UPS and FedEx sometimes only hold packages unclaimed for a certain amount of time and then send them back. Not saying that is the case there but it's better to be sure I think....

Hugs, Liz

You would think in a place where temperature dictates how people venture out they would hold hold on to stuff like that differently. It's probably not a high traffic area for DHL either. At least you would hope that's the way it is.

I hope it is, Derek.....I just thought it might be a good idea for them to know if that's the case or not.

Thanks guys and gals... couldn't have done it this easily without ALL of you!

Richard, did you get any rest last night?

Lee, I did... We went to bed about 8:30 or so and we slept until 3 AM.... kids fell asleep about 6:30ish and slept until 5am. They are 9 and 10 by the way.

They will hold it at DHL for 30 days. When it comes from the embassy and it gets held at the Moscow office it sometimes happens that it has to get sent elsewhere. So she has plenty of time. However I just got told to stop rushing and be patient. I told her I can't help it, "I want you here now!!!"

So Richard what exciting plans do you have for this weekend. Besides the hunky punky I mean.

We have to go buy a tree and ALL the decorations to go with it. We have not had a Christmas tree in over 10 years I think. I do not own any Christmas decorations. We have to go pick out some furniture for the kids. I wanted them to choose their own, so I did not buy any in advance of them coming. We have to go grocery shopping too... there is NOTHING in the house to eat... and R E S T :)

You are going to have an expensive weekend! The thought of shopping like that is a nightmare for me. I dislike shopping a great deal!!! I would rather hand Maria some cash and send her, but she can't drive and she doesn't manage money very well.

Shopping is exactly why we have not celebrated Christmas in the traditional way.... Since I was separated and divorced.. now I think 12 or 13 years... y kids have had Christmas with my ex... so I asked my kids if instead of having a tree and all the traditional stuff... we would all travel somewhere each Christmas... they agreed and each year we have taking a cruise or gone somewhere exotic. I wanted my kids to see the world and this was a way to offer that.

I am not looking forward to the shopping, but I am looking forward to having a 'normal' kind of Christmas.

Good morning all!

Congrats Richard on your new addition to the family all getting here safely!! I'm so glad things went well for you!

Lee it's the same for us.. we're trying to get the paperwork done today for his places of residency for the past.. well since he was 16 is how it goes I guess.. it's my day off and he's back from camp so we're forcing loads of talking and paperwork into one day it seems. I WANT HIM HEEEERE!

Liz, the liquid bandaide is amazing and works pretty well, the eucerin is doing well too!

Did anyone deal with residency records too? We're debating if he'll even need records from the UK and Finland because he was only a student there and was never in the country more than 6 months at a time for school...

01/23/2009 ----------Leave Athens and my Honey for the processes to begin

02/10/2009 ----------Beginning of Greek Military Obligations for 11 months

03/21/2009 ----------Stationed to Rhodes

07/16/2009-----------Meeting in Spain for 6 days!

08/27/2009-----------Stationed to Nevrokopi

01/10/2010-----------Gets OUT of the Army!

02/16/2010-----------Interview!

02/24/2010-----------Lampros arrives in WA!!!

He didn't just want me long, he wanted me a little longer than forever... :3
