I only have a few things left that have to be done before Oksana and Alisa arrive. I need to get a tv for Alisa's room. I got a car seat already. I am so freaking excited that the wait is almost over.

Thank you guys. It's still hard to believe that the wait will soon be over. I am so anxious. It is like time is moving even slower since we got the visa.

Alisa turned two in August. She is still so small and cute and will give me plenty of time to connect with her.

As for the flight home I already told her I wanted her here before christmas so whatever we have to do to make that happen is what we'll have to do. Now if the stupid weather would just cooperate.

I may have to hand me down things for her too... At that age everything hand me down is good, they grow out of things so fast!!!

So true, Derek! Even now at Jessie's age she outgrows things before I can blink!

Sweet. Anything to help make the transition easier. Most of the stuff in Alisa's room is from various friends. The only thing that is completely new is the bed and the sheets and pillows. Those are the only things I wouldn't take as hand me down. Not that there is anything wrong with anyone elses sheets I just have issues.

I bet Oksana will be so happy to dive into warm weather after cold Russian winter! How cold does it get down where you are Lee?
