Liz, this one has a lot of good recipes...http://allrecipes.com/features/holidays/thanksgiving/2009.aspx

We're having a quiet Thanksgiving with just the two of us. Arturo prepared two of the dishes yesterday, which is awesome!

I just saw the posts about Turducken, and I have to say that Arturo has been in love with the idea ever since he first heard of it 3 or 4 years ago. I saw the link and that site says it feeds about 30 people or something!

Lee, about the laptop gift. I think that's a great idea, especially if it'll make it easier for y'all to talk.

I actually think I'm going to be the only one in my office today. I found out yesterday that almost everyone I work with is taking today off. I'm just assuming that the rest are as well. It's 9:30 and noone else is here yet... It's nice and quiet!

Thank you for complimenting my gift giving greatness.

Tell Arturo that turducken is even better than he imagines it is. I would say it feeds closer to 20. Although most of my friends are big guys. Bare in mind that I myself am 6'2" and around 230 (pre-thanksgivng) and I am fairly average sized in my group of friends. Either way turducke sandwhiches are awesome the next day. Just a thought.

I am jealous that you have your office to yourself. I am not that lucky.

Ooh..hadn't though of the food network site! Thanks!

There are usually about 12 of us in the office. One person just walked in, but someone I was hoping would be out. I'm now officially bummed.

I'm a vegetarian, so I'm trying to think of a time when it would make sense to order that much meat. Maybe we could have a Turducken at the wedding part 2 next spring. Though everyone would fall asleep after we ate!

I'm hoping that he'll actually be here the end of January or beginning of February at the latest :D.
