Morning...

Very cute Liz!

Am I the only one not off on vets day?

I'm not off = / and Kathy has classes today...this day should be a true holiday at least to be thankful to those who protect this country.

Long day for me day...classes after work...probably getting home close to 10pm today =/ how you doing!

Sheesh...that is a long day!

I'm doing really good today....lots of good things happening!

Pat and I were just talking...we're going to go tomorrow and get our marriage license! :dance:

swEET! you guys are rolling now! = ) you should also go and obtain the social security as well since im sure you're taking a day off from work because the marriage license is pretty quick to obtain

09/05/09: POE- New York City

10/23/09: Marriage

02/19/10: Mailed AOS,EAD and AP via FedEx to Chicago Lockbox

02/23/10: FedEx online tracking confirmed delivery of AOS,EAD and AP at Chicago Lockbox

03/02/10: Check cashed

03/05/10: Received NOA1 for I495, AP and EAD (says it was done 3/2/2010)

03/12/10: Received NOA2 Biometrics letter. Appointment date: 03/22/10 (letter notice date: 03/08/10)

03/17/10: Received email/text message stating that CASE SENT TO CSC ON 03/16/10

03/26/10: Received notice AP has been approved and a notification has been mailed to me.

03/31/10: Received notice for EAD production

04/02/10: Received AP

04/05/10: Received EAD card

I LOVE my job too....I work 6:30-3:00....very nice to be able to get off that early!

Yeah..that's one heck of a schedule. How much longer are you taking the income tax prep classes?

Ok....have a question for you guys....a friend of mine on the Dutch/American thread is about to file their AOS....they asked me if I know if there is an extra fee for filing AP for a K2 child. I know the AOS fee of $1010 includes EAD and AP but I thought that was just for the K1 visa holder.....what about if they are filing AP for a K2 visa holder as well???

i am pretty sure its 1100 for each.... e.g. I have 3x1100 = OMFG thats a lot of money

It is $600... the other costs are for employment and such... kids don't need all that.

I don't think AP is included with that. And it is my understand that AP is only for the time between AOS filing and the temporary green card. In my opinion it isn't worth it unless there is a real need to travel...an emergency. The thing about the $1010 is that they kinda give you EAD and AP for free when you do the AOS.

I forgot to post them, but if I get a chance before I go to tonights Magic game I will post them. I did manage to get them on my laptop at home though so I am well on my way. I feel very sorry for you though if you are living vicariously through me. I am really quite boring at times.
