You mean the day to send her home. well she has until November 5th. i haven't decided to marry her or not? lots of problems.

I am very sorry to hear that there are such big problems. Is it something you two can work out?

I guess we can all relate that this process is a very difficult one

The EAD (Employment Authorization) is done during the AOS process. Until he gets the EAD he can not legally work. He can only legally work with the EAD and an SSN .

Maire,

he is number 3. Legal Alien NOT allowed to work

We filled in number 2....he is allowed to work with authorization which is the EAD he'll get. They gave Pat his SS card with a note on it saying he was allowed to work when he got his EAD.

I know that....we were told to check number 2 at our office though.....

Lee i think we are able to work it out. it is her temper. a brazilian temper is no good. so i don't klnow if i want to be with a temper the rest of my life. i already had one when i was married before and it is me that is not liking it. plus when i travelled to NJ with my mother and my SO, while we were theere my mother had a heart attack and i had to go back to FLorida for work and my mother had to stay and have a triple bypass. my mind isn't into anything right now. my mother is ok and made it through the surgery last week but she still has blockages in the neck that they need to do also. she was in bad shape. the doctor had told me if i drove my mom back with us to florida she would have died in the car. not good...

The embassy must either be tired of me or sympathetice towards me. I got my "we're still in AP" e-mail in less than an hour. It usually takes 24 hours for them to crush my spirit. At least they are getting efficient at it. So I got that going for me, which is nice.

Rich I am so sorry to hear about your mom. It must be very difficult for you right now. I am glad to hear that she made it through the surgery. Hopefully the situation with Bey's temper is something she can work on. I have hope for you that it can be worked out.
