Thanks Liz.

I doubt that I will contact my liason today. I can only take so much bad news at a time. I now have to sit through work and act like a give a ####### about what I am doing, but I don't care. I am really just devastated right now. I will get over it in a few hours, but right now I am just pissed off. I will contact the liason on Monday and see what happens then.

I can't even imagine how pissed off and hopeless you must feel. You would think they are not really working over there, just dickin around with BS!

Exactly! I just can't wrap my mind around what could cause it to take so long to review an email???? I mean my gosh...they've had it long enough now!

Lee - I wish I could come over there and give you a big hug! I'm sorry this is happening and I hope it's all resolved soon!!!!

Hugs, Liz

I received an Unsolicited email this morning from my congressman's office. They automatically continue to follow the case and the progress I guess... as they forwarded me an email thread of them checking at the embassy, the embassy responded saying they didn't have our paperwork yet! grrrrr we faxed it over to them on Monday!!!!

Lee hang in there buddy. I remember how bad I felt when everyone in March was getting approved and our file was sitting there gathering dust. It was 2 months of pure, unadulterated misery.... it was very painful watching applications being approved in 40 days while ours was ignored. I know that doesnt really help you... other than... this passed for us and now seems to be on track.... and with hindsight, the 2 months now doesnt feel quite so bad!

Hugs Dude!

Thanks Richard. I know deep down you're right and this is going to happen, eventually. It's just so demoralizing for both of us at the moment. What kills me is that I can't find out how long AP at the embassy usually takes. At least when I was in AP at NVC I knew that it usually takes about one month. I know it sounds silly, but I would feel better if they would just it's going to take six months, because I'd at least know when the end is coming. The not knowing is so painful. I will get over this feeling as soon as I am home and can relax and not have to be fake here at work. On the brightside I am reading a hilarious book called "FU Penguin: Telling cute animals what's what" it's based on a blog and it is hilarious. I just picked it up yesterday, because I need something to help me laugh.

Any word on when Joanna's interview will be?
