Hi guys!

Quick question to those of you that have your NOA2 - is the Alien Case Number different from the EACXXXXXXXXXXX number that we get on our NOA1?

I have started to get my medical appointments prepared eventhough we don't yet have our NOA2 or Pkt 3 - mainly because the ONLY doctor in South Australia that can do the medical is going overseas for a while soon! I don't want to have wait till he gets back.

However the forms the nurse gave me to fill out ask for the Alient (case) number. I'm not sure what to put. I guess if it's a new number I will have to change my appointments and wait for the Packet 3. What do you think?

thanks! With any luck the NOA2 will be coming our way soooon

the EAC XXXXXXX is the USCIS case number ; not the Align Number ..

However ; when the petition move from USCIS service center to NVC then to the Embassy , the NVC assign a case number ; and this is i believe whats required ...cz when i went to do my mdeical this what was used in the medical forms sure eside my passport number as well

Good Luck .

The EAC number is a Receipt Number...The alien case number is known as the A-Number

Look here for an example of where it can be found

The first time it shows up is on the NOA2 on the Beneficiary line with the Beneficiary Name
