Kanye's apology was like when someone says "I'm really sorry that you felt I was rude to you" rather than "I'm sorry I was rude."

I wouldn't even call it an apology, more like an excuse....and it's not excusable to continuously act like a spoiled child. Just another reason for me to never buy his music.

Ms. Williams thing on the tennis court...I think she knew she was losing (which she was) and needed an excuse (again not excusable) to lose the match.

Even John McEnroe said her actions were overboard...and it's like he invented going crazy on the court.

Many of these "stars" really aren't that bright.

I think what happened with Serena Williams was that she assumed that she would win because she'd beaten Clijsters 7 games out of 8, and didn't need to put as much practice before the game. Before she went on she was asked how she'd been spending her time before the match - she said something along the lines of "just relaxing" which I found strange.

It was clear quite quickly that she wasn't really playing up to par - never really got going in the first set and when she smashed her racket it was obvious she was getting frustrated.

Of course having the game delayed for nearly 2 days for rain probably didn't help either.

Nah, he gained credibility with the Klan. Why bother reading the thread and seeing what's going on...just scan for a few keywords, and then paste in standard comment #3 and fill in the blanks.

I guess since reading (in the US) is from left to right, some people just reads what's on the right, what's written by people they are on the right, or maybe nothing at all.

There certainly is a problem with people making silly cardboard cutout comments on these boards.

I've always found that odd it odd that so much emphasis is put on slogans and soundbites - either from party politics or from the mass media. Surprising not only that people buy into that stuff, but that they are so uncritical about it.
