Questions with the I-765

I know what the safe thing to do is and yes I've read all of the instructions with the I-765 but I'm still wondering if I need to treat them as their own applications when filed together. Meaning are the copies of passport, visa, I-94 good for both applications(I-765&I-485) as long as they are in the same package or is it better to have separate copies together with each document? Also, I would assume that I will then need two photos for the I-485 and two photos for the I-765. I would guess that two photos for the both of them wouldn't do since they will both lead to forms of identification. Any suggestions? I'm getting ready to send all of this off in a couple days. You need to treat them as if they were separate, which they are...so 4 photos, and repeats of anything else asked for in the instructions for the appropriate forms package.
