Congrats on the earlier date :dancing: Sara, do you really think he will get AP after all of the time it spent at USCIS? God, I would like to think not... prayers for you and him to have a wonderful December wedding ;)

thank you..i hope to have dec wedding as far as the ap i pretty much expect it because first he comes from kashmir second he is muslim......

thank you for ur prayers we are going to need them this is delhi we are dealing with an so far their batting average for k1 is not so good for the applicants but every once in awhile they give approval when ur expecting to have to fight it :)

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

thank you........i think that we have gotten just about everything we have ever heard them ask for an more but ........its the embassy i hope we get approval after so long at least thats what im praying for even if we have to go thru ap is better than denial :)

oh just wanted to say perviz doest even know he has a interview date as of yet because they sent the email with the interview letter attached along with a link to down load package 4 to me........i been trying to get a hold of him but he is not reachable so i left a message with his family

i don't know you at all but have sort of quietly followed your story. i wish you the best of luck for this nightmare journey to be over and for you to soon be enjoying your life together.

18 NOV 2010 Sent 1.8lb packet to USCIS in Laguna Niguel (day 1)

19 NOV 2010 Package signed for V SEMEGI (day 2)

24 NOV 2010 Package returned because USC didn't sign petition (day 6)

calendar reset

26 NOV 2010 Package sent out again (day 1)

29 NOV 2010 Package signed for by V SEMEGI (day 3)

29 NOV 2010 NOA1 issued (day 3)

03 DEC 2010 Hardcopy of NOA received (day 7)

07 JAN 2011 Successful walk in biometrics (day 42) original date 1 FEB

01 MAR 2011 Date on Approval notice (although it arrived after the card did) (day 94)

03 MAR 2011 Card received (day 96)

9/19: Check cashed

9/23: Received NOA

10/7: Text from USCIS on status update: Biometrics in the mail

10/9: Received Biometrics letter

10/29: Biometrics

10/31: In-line

2/16: Text from USCIS that Baltimore has scheduled an interview...finally!!

2/24: Interview letter received

3/24: Naturalization interview

thank you and we sure do need those prayers.......the prayers of everyone has gotten us to this point
