So my wife will be submitting a DS-230 Part I to the London consulate soon. I was just looking over (http://london.usembassy.gov/cons_new/visa/iv/ds2001.html) this and noticed the part about birth certificates. Does this mean that we need both my wives birth certificate AND my birth certificate or just hers?

11/2007 - Married in UK

05/2009 - Filed I-130 at London USCIS

05/2009 - Received NOA1

05/2009 - Received letter requesting further information

06/2009 - Sent further information to London USCIS

07/2009 - Received NOA2

10/2009 - Sent DS-2001 Checklist

11/2009 - Medical Exam

12/2009 - Interview - Approved!

Are you in NVC process now? If yes, as far as I know Her birth certificate.

Dec 15,2009 - Assigned interview date on January 24,2010!!

Jan. 24, 2010 - Interview!! Approved

Jan. 28, 2010 - VISA received

Mar. 03,2010 - POE, New York (JFK)

Apr. 12,2010- CA ID

May 20,2010- CA Driving License

May, 25,2010-Wife told me that she is pregnant ^_^

Jan.25,2011- Our daughter was born

We are Direct consular filing with London embassy, I am pretty sure its just her certificate and we bring it on the interview date. I just got confused because it'd been a couple months since we received I-130 and compiling documents for DS-230/DS-2001 interview form.

11/2007 - Married in UK

05/2009 - Filed I-130 at London USCIS

05/2009 - Received NOA1

05/2009 - Received letter requesting further information

06/2009 - Sent further information to London USCIS

07/2009 - Received NOA2

10/2009 - Sent DS-2001 Checklist

11/2009 - Medical Exam

12/2009 - Interview - Approved!

In Ireland, we just needed mine (foreigner's) birth cert. For the USC, his photocopies passport was sufficient.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
