11/2009 1st visit to Morocco (2 weeks), Officially Proposed, Engagement Party!!

12/31/2009 K1 NOA1

2/26/2010 NOA2 APPROVED!!!

3/2010 2nd trip to Morocco (3.5 months)

5/18/2010 Interview Results: told to wait for call

6/14/2010 Visa denied per Section 221(g)

9/27/2010 NOID (Notice of Intent to Deny) Received

12/1/2010 NOID Reaffirmed & Returned for visa processing (back to Casa for another interview)

2/2/2011 Rebuttle Interview: APPROVED!!!

3/18/2011 VISA IN HAND!!

4/8/2011 Arrive in US through JFK (20 mins total time)

6/9/2011 MARRIED!!!

7/2013 Divorced

Beth sorry to hear about that. Sounds like you're on the mend.

Jackie fabulous news on your Hubby's plans to come here this month!

The ball has been slow to get rolling since everyone has been out for the holidays but we finally heard word from our constituent about the congressional inquiry being submitted on Monday 1/11. We also received the same response back from the Embassy last week saying "The AP is concluded it is in Consulars Final Review". If we go over our emails from them and what DOS has said it goes back and forth between it being AP and AR for about 5 months when they told us in the interview that it would be no more than 3 weeks till visa in hand. Hopefully the Congressional inquiry will do something for us. All plans for us are currently up in the air right now through March.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Time for alot of things........oh I seriously don't know where to start!

I was at the grocery store last weekend and I picked up a box of Lipton tea bags....I started to shake and hyperventilate! It hit me that he would be DRINKING that tea!
