41 days..wow Jax, thats amazingly close!

Hey everyone, how's everybody doing?

Sharifah,

Im sorry about how you are feeling right now. I am glad they were honest about what the holdup was and I hope that they were WAY overestimating and it wont be 7 months doll. If it turns out to be, we're here if you need us and you'll make it. It stinks but it can be done.

Aya, congrats on the interview date and I wrote ya back :)

wasnt rain4guy(sorry I know Im slaughtering it lol) having an interview soon? or am i just making that up from my bad memory

anyway, I hope all are well and Im glad its Friday.

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Husband still doesn't have a job. He's getting depressed and it's bringing unnecessary problems. Hubby came at the wrong time (during recession) and wrong place (California). I know this too will pass, but I hope inshallah very soon.

Hi ya'll!

Ibrahim will buy his ticket on Dec 15, inshAllah. I am holding my breath that all will go ok with his permission letter to leave Jordan. He has to get signatures at several minitries before flying. I refuse to get any kind of excited til he has a ticket in hand.

I hope good news and a happy Holiday~~whatever you are celebrating.

Jackie (F)

Hi to all !

I hear ya, Kenza. We're still waiting for my husband's work permit (it's been longer than VJ said it would be ) and he is getting VERY depressed, unhappy, etc. It's tough knowing what to do or say and does cause a lot of unnecessary tension.

Hi Ladies...how is everyone? I hope you all had a good holiday weekend!

Missing Jordan yet again today...in tears on the way to work wishing I could fly there after Christmas. Hopefully hubby will get to start his job next Monday and we can save up some money and be in Jordan next year for at least a month.

Ex-husband has a court date on Dec. 15th for non payment of child support...wondering if he will show. Anyone know what will happen if he doesn't show up? I think he will be arrested. But I don't know what happens after that...how long will he be in jail...etc? Once he is arrested can I tip them off that he is here illegally? He keeps getting arrested and they don't deport him....I don't know how that works....
