love love love.....................I gotz it :P

Hey Girls, Jackie, Lisa, Aya, Kenza, and the rest of the lovlies here, as you know our interview is 10 days away, and thru this whole journey we fought for our NOA 2, got thru NVC with little scares and worry, got an earlier interivew date, and today, I just lost it, broke down, and cried like a baby all day. I leave for Paris next Sunday to attend the interview, so much i needed to do today, as for all week Monday till Friday Im working a 12 hour shift each day, which leave little time in evening to pack, and finish some things around the house.

Why now, do I feel so lost, distressed and broken? This should be my happy dance time, knowing I will see hubby in a week, and be in his arms once again. Is it AP in the back of my mind that is hindering this moment? Possible AP?

Any advice on this? Is it normal to feel like this?

I agree with Lisa, Beth. You've been through too much just to get there!! I know you must be having all the kinds of thoughts about the interview and the rest of the process on your head every minute, but honey I do have a good feeling about how the interview is going to go. You're going to attend the interview with Mo which is a big plus and you two have nothing to worry about as per proving your marriage is a true one and you have all the docs. That interviewer should just approve you in a minute! :) I believe in my heart that I'm going to hear great news about Mo's interview in less than ten days! :) Just relax and be sure that everything is going to go smooth cause you are prepared. :)

Hi ladies, thank you Lisa and Aya, I admit, Im so nervous, I broke out in hives all over my neck and chest area.

Its been a touch journey, and being so close, I still shake my head and say WOW, not the most educated thing to say, DUH, but its how I'em a worry wart. Its taken its toll on me and on him. Still have not packed anything, Im working 12 hours everyday this week, by time I get home, I have no energy, so I can see Saturday will be a whirl wind of packing, and shopping and all that needs to be done before I get on that plane on Sunday afternoon. I will collapse once I set my bunns in that seat.

I will have my lap top and date stick with me in Paris, so I will have internet, and will post when I get there, and keep all up to date. Love you all, and thank you for your kind words and most of support from all your lovlies.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

I am a little late to say this, but it is totally normal. We spend so much time keeping it together, and there comes a time when we spew our emotions everywhere. And from what I have read of your story, you must be totally stressed.

Just have a good cry, get it out of your system, and pull yourself together for the final stage of the visa journey. To be honest I suspect you would have done this anyway.

I read these stories that you are all going through and it brings back such strong emotions and memories. Since my hubby is here, and has been now for close to 3 years I can say that you have much more stress that is coming up. This is not a journey for the weak, but I see much strength amongst so many of you, and I have faith that you are all going to do just fine in the end.

M4E - you're so right. November 6 will be five years since my hubby arrived. We have been through so much that I sometimes just want to shake my head. You all are in the infancy of your journey. Trust me - there will be so many ups and downs, almost crazier than a rollercoaster, but you can keep it together. Just say to yourself, "This, too, shall pass." I hope that you all enjoy the journey for what it is - an adventure. God bless you all! :star:

Flower have you heard anything..I called DOS and all she said is just wait...no updates nothing just wait...so I dont know whats going on..Contacted Senator maybe they will have better luck than me.

B&S there is no movement yet. Today I'm really happy for some reason even though we reached our eight weeks. Tomorrow I am meeting with my local Congressman to tell them our story and hand over my information. It's in the same town our local social security office is so I can apply to change over to my married name finally. Then there is the DMV, and the bank, and the school and I think that's it. Then I've got to get out those Graduate School applications with my new name on them. :D

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

I am afraid the only answer they'll get me is the one I am already getting, "We're in administrator's final review". That's great but we were told that we were there before and then he got a second AP so who is telling the truth?

Want to say hello to everyone! I am enjoying my time in Jordan... but fretting over all this visa stuff!

I know our I130 arrived in Chicago on Oct 14 (tracked it DHL). So I expect the call from my mom any time that the NOA1 is there.

We just can't decide what to do now... file the I129F for the K3 or just do the CR1. From all I am reading, it seems the CR1 is only taking about 45 days more to process. And the reason we considered the K3 was to be together faster.

I need good, sound advice from those of you who have already been thru all this. I don't know if our bad K1 interview will affect one of these more than the other, so any experience with this would be helpful too.

If you don't know our story, at the Sept interview for K1, the woman told Mo we were a sham and sent us back to uscis for further review... so I withdrew that petition as instructed by uscis... came to Jordan for 6 weeks, married Mo, and refiled for the I130.

But I don't want to relive all that bad past, I need to concentrate on what will happen next. So please help me decide the best route here!

Thanks to all of you!

Ally,

I've already bombarded you with advise :P

As far as the CR1 vs K3.. *I* noticed (after having Y ask around there and looking on VJ last year) that K visas get less AP post interview out of Amman.
