"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Why yes it is! We talked on the phone today and there is an excitement in the air for sure ! Ibrahim chatted with Alexis about her school and the holidays coming up. I am finally seeing a light at the end of a very long tunnel.

Good luck to all the upcoming interviews and reunions.

love love love.....................I gotz it :P

Hey Girls, Jackie, Lisa, Aya, Kenza, and the rest of the lovlies here, as you know our interview is 10 days away, and thru this whole journey we fought for our NOA 2, got thru NVC with little scares and worry, got an earlier interivew date, and today, I just lost it, broke down, and cried like a baby all day. I leave for Paris next Sunday to attend the interview, so much i needed to do today, as for all week Monday till Friday Im working a 12 hour shift each day, which leave little time in evening to pack, and finish some things around the house.

Why now, do I feel so lost, distressed and broken? This should be my happy dance time, knowing I will see hubby in a week, and be in his arms once again. Is it AP in the back of my mind that is hindering this moment? Possible AP?

Any advice on this? Is it normal to feel like this?

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

beth,

its all of those "what if's" that we all experience. Quite frankly, you have had one hell of a journey and Im not suprised at all that you would feel like...ok, this CANT really be the end, can it?"

My advise is to focus on the positives:

you got through the hell of uscis TWICE!

you got through NVC and AP

you are going to see your husband next week

you had AP already at NVC..(k3 and cr1) what on earth could they want to check again, weeks later?

your bags may be packed with 10 bottoms and one top, no toothbrush, forgot your deo :P and you may come home to a messy house, but the interview docs will be in order!

you have faught long and hard for this man and its going to happen sweetheart

(L) ya, and this too shall pass

I agree with Lisa, Beth. You've been through too much just to get there!! I know you must be having all the kinds of thoughts about the interview and the rest of the process on your head every minute, but honey I do have a good feeling about how the interview is going to go. You're going to attend the interview with Mo which is a big plus and you two have nothing to worry about as per proving your marriage is a true one and you have all the docs. That interviewer should just approve you in a minute! :) I believe in my heart that I'm going to hear great news about Mo's interview in less than ten days! :) Just relax and be sure that everything is going to go smooth cause you are prepared. :)
