Morning waiting club and support group!!

Sorry, I didn't get to comment on your pics, Amanda. They are beautiful! Wish you were closer to us, like Sandra, we plan on having a chin-dig for our family and friends once Ahmed gets here. Ya know, we have talked about possibly moving to either NC or SC (one of many places we have thought of to get the hell away from MN weather) Although, of course we haven't made our mind up as of yet, but when the time comes perhaps I'll ask ya about your state.

Anywho....NVC is still telling me to wait until next week because I may or possibly may not get an interview for November. They are just playing with mah feelins!! I just feel like screaming, but my throat hurts and like I mentioned in the daily thread, I really feel like ka-ka! Not only that, I don't think my job would appreciated me screaming for what appears to be no reason to them. Sigh.......

Here is yet again a new waiting couch. I'll be sitting on one of the back chairs since I am sickflu.gif and I really don't want to get anyone else ill. Who's gonna bring the ahwa or shay??

Awww Sharifah I hope you feel better!

And absolutely yes come to NC!!! It is still in the 80s here during the day in mid-October! It does get slightly chilly here in the winter but not near as cold as further north! Wilmington is a great city to move to because it is by the beach....It isn't a huge town, but not po-dunk with nothing at all. It has character...I love it! But definitely, if you move to NC and have a huge party...buzz me and I would be very glad to take pictures for you...same goes for everyone else! Even if you happen to move to SC...there are a few places in SC, like Myrtle Beach, that are only an hour drive for me!

Take care.

Thanks!

Your not alone being sick, office just sent me home, have doctors appoinment this afternoon. Its bad when co-worker feels my forehead, and instantly disinfects her hands. A fever at work is grounds for immediately sending a person home, so home sweet home .

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

Sorry everyone is sick what a bummer, don't bring it to Kansas there are plenty of sick kids at my sons school. I also saw on Nightline last night such a awfull footage of kids in the KC mercy childrens hospital suffering with the H1N1 flu virus nearly on there death beds but hanging on for there lives. Talk about putting tears in your eyes.

You do have a true talent Amanda, I hope that gift can take you places that you want to go at some point, if not at least you have a back up job. I always like having a plan B..lol

Good to see you too Sandra. Thanks for the advice everyone. I'm going to contact my Congressman's office today or tomorrow after my test and see if they can do anything about the delays and lost passport information.

And I agree lovely pix Amanda. I like the contrast between the black and white with the sectioned off color parts.

And congrats to Kenza for the visa in hand and Betsy for hubby's arrived or arriving shortly today!

And Jackie - You moved to Seattle and I know how difficult it must be to have left Lexy. I understand but check in girl and let people know what's what. (F)

you gals are awesome, thanks for the best wishes and good lucks.

i have been just forgetting the fact that hubby's interview is close...just been looking for a job and trying to keep busy doing favors for the people in my life...basically, engulfing myself with their issues, maybe that's wrong, but it sure is a good distractor....

hope all is well for everyone.

right now, i'm actually more worried about getting a job than anything else...this is getting ridiculous. i know i'm qualified, i know i am a good worker, but why nothing comes up...

my iman has hit an all-time low, i should pray...i've been slacking big time....it's bad i know, but i just don't feel it in my heart right now :(

salams

Im sorry to hear all of that :( If you have led an active prayer life and then it slacks, it surely makes a difference in all aspects of your life. Pray for the desire to pray..sounds silly but has worked everytime for me in the past. (F)

Girls, Jackie, Lisa, Amanda, Kenza , Sharifah, I need your oponion on this.

Embassy called my husband today, said "K3 is cancelled, CR1 is maintained, show up for Nov. 17th interivew, bring your passport, and any required documents," see you and your wife then" hubby said, but my card will be expired, lady repeated, bring passport, so we can insert your visa in it. then she hung up, thats it. Mo said she made it sound like, show up, give us your passport, and visa granted, what the hell??? I emailed embassy of course they are now closed for the day. What do you all think of this?? expecially the part of Bring your passport so your visa can be inserted. They have each petition with a copy of his residency card, do they understand?

He had one regret, the officer who called, American, her french was not good, he regrets not speaking English with her, his English is perfect.

Do you think there is a mis-communication somewhere in phone call???

Im sick as a dog, whole time coughing lungs out on phone with hubby, ugh!!!

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

Beth...so sorry to hear that...wish I knew how to help. That is so rude of that woman...really? I mean this a very important event, she should take the time to talk to him! So there isn't any possible way he could have his residency card extended until the day of his interview...I'm sure you've already talked about that or already tried that. Hopefully the embassy will get back to you in the morning or your hubby can talk to someone else first thing tomorrow. I'm praying for ya Beth!!!

I know Amanda, call was short , quick , and to the point. Anyways, in the email I sent them, I told them French immigration wants a statement from embassy, stamped my the embassy of his interview date. I had the interview letter translated into French, but they wont accept it, then said could be a fake, Oh come on!!!, anyways, I asked if they could write a statement in French, did not hurt to ask anyways.

Gesh, do they understand about his card?? funny, they told him for us not to pay the K3 fee, its been terminated, just show up for the CR1 interview. She told him all fees have been paid for the CR1, "yeah we know"

We NEVER got a request or ANYTHING from embassy on the K3 at all.

I dont know what to think, hopefullly they will answer my email tomorrow or Friday. Honestly, I dont have the strength to deal with this, Im sick as a dog, fever, coughing lungs out, I feel like death warmed over. Think I will lay down for a while. Thanks Amanda, hugs.
