Hi ya'll from the road! Finally~ internet access! A recap of my road trip:

Left Illinois Sunday about 10am, very emotional. Drove til about 8pm and slept in my front seat at a rest stop somewhere in Iowa.

Monday~drove in the pouring down rain thru Iowa, Minnesota. At about 5pm I was near Mt Rushmore, well I just HAD to drive to it, and it was so foggy from the snowstorm the visiblity was like...to the end of my nose. So I stood there knowing..hey ..there are 4 dead presidents faces over this railing and I cant see sh*t. :P

Drove north into Wyoming and ZOMG did it get cold and snowy! I pulled over to sleep again in a rest area surrounded by white tail deer and I hope no bears.

FROZE MY AsZ off! lol Woke up to 12 degrees on a mountain and then got coffee. So, after 2 nights in the car and 3 days of white-knuckled driving, I am now in a Super 8 with internet access!

This is the mountain I go into tommorrow, so I am going to get a good nights sleep and then~~~ 700 miles to SEATTLE! (maggie when i pull in...lead me to da couch~pillow by pop's chair...15 feet from the coffee pot :P

pm me for the number if ya want to call and say hi..im sure the front desk wont mind !

You be careful, and get some rest, soon you will be in Seattle!!!

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

ahhhhhh I just slept in a BED! :P It was heavenly and thank god for Super 8! The shower was rockin, coffee pot in the room and checkout time isnt til 11am. I'm staying every minute!

Ok,,so first it was the Kum & Go...then came the Pump & Pack.........and outside my window is the Town Pump. I find the silliest things to laugh at. So last night I'm sitting at the local diner having eggs and toast and it was all cowboys and me and the waitress. I hear from one of the booths 'yea i just grabbed that bulls balls and CUT'em off! ' Well thats all it took...3 days of being on the road alone got to me and I got the giggles. Balls...off....LOL I giggle thinking about it.

I'm sorry I didnt stop in Minnesota but it was like midnight and I had to keep going. Once I left Illinois, I had to keep driving. It was hitting me hard that my Jessica was far away and her umbilical cord was stretching too far. (my daughter is my heart and lexy is my soul and being gone was tearing out my heart)

Mount Rushmore. I was there. Didn't see it. They had just had snow and it was so foggy I couldnt see 5 feet away. (nice for driving huh? ) I saw the Corn Palace (dont bother) Al's Oasis...i saw the largest truckstop. I went to Wall Drug. ....and slept in some really dark rest areas. I woke up in my front seat, looked out the window and there were deer 4 feet from my car eating grass.

I will be getting to Seattle on Thursday inshallah.

Today is the real mountains. I know why you have to go 75 mph...cuz you need it to get up the hill. Ya'll have a good day. I wont be back online til I get to Maggies house. It was great to get back on VJ !

love,

Jax (F)
