have a address question and I am not sure how to explain it. My fiance has changed addresses. And we had not notified uscis because when I mailed the packet to them for the petition, I enclosed a letter with the mailing address of his employment kindly requesting that all correspondence be mailed to his work. He is still working in the same place. Now thats said, let me try to explain....

The last address of his Bio form states...

"123 Doodle Avenue" (Made up of course) Dates from: January 2209 - present

Thats the last address on form. A few months back he moved to another address.....

"1244 Whatever Street" He lived there from April 2209 to August 2009

We did not update Bio form with USCIS because as I stated above we just requested correspondence to be sent to his work address and did not think the address change was a big deal. But nowwwww he has moved again....

New address:

"124555 OMG Street" Dates from: August 2009 to present.

So the last two address are not on a updated form... He can still get his mail at the first address I listed "doodle ave' which is on his Bio bc his friends live there and will give it to him when his packet comes. And he can get it at his work address which I supplied to uscis.

Question being is it a BIG deal that they did not have the last two addreses he lived at??? Does it even matter? Will this even come up in the interview? All the moving was done after we submitted the petition. Im thinking of calling them on Monday and giving them the newer address. The one he's at now, and not even worry about the 2nd address "whatever street"? Are you as confused as I am??? Just need some thoughts on this... Thanks!!!!

Your petition has been approved, correct? I would not bother contacting USCIS at this point.

Even though you requested that correspondence be sent to his work, they might overlook that when sending out his interview packet. I would email or call the consulate in Casablanca to provide his most recent address(es) and remind them that they need to send the packet to his work address.

No big deal!

We had a similar situation. Call NVC ASAP before it leaves for the consulate and ask to change his address to "123 OMG ave.", they will do it right there with you on the phone. Then email/call the consulate to be safe and let them know that his address has changed. Thats what I did and we had NO problems. :)

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

:dance: That's kind of like the story of Benjamin whatever where he gets younger since he lived backwards from 2209 to 2009! lol

I had a similar situation I guess. My husband moved from one flat to another but because Cairo's so effed up we didn't want to chance things so he just went to his old flat which wasn't too far away and checked for mail. In his neighborhood everyone knows everything that goes on so when he would get a package or a letter his phone would ring off the hook.

The only thing I would caution you with is that in *some* cases, not saying this would be your case, there are home investigations. I don't think this happens in Morocco that often but it did in Cairo when we were going through it.

Im just afraid they will acuse of of being dishonest on the Bio form if we did not update it. And not sure what questions they will ask in interview.. I mean if they bring up the last address listed on his bio form, and he says hes lived at 2 different addresses since then, they might say 'why didnt you tell us" and acuse him of with-holding information. You never know what apple you will get in the interview.. a good one or bad one.. and just worried and wanting everything to go smoothy. Kow what I mean?:blink:

Then I would do what Lisa did. Every situation is different but honesty is usually the best policy. We just kept it because Cairo is just a different animal compared to all of the other consulates. At least it was during the time we went through the process. We kind of encounter murphy's law in just about every situation we go through. :)
