Whew! I got mine today, too! With the Notice Date of July 13, 2006.

Three points to mention: first, there is nothing for July 13 on USCIS site. The last time I was touched, according to their site, was on July 5. Thus, they made an appointment without touching my case! Second, it was one NOA for both I-485 and I-765. Third, there is a notice on the NOA "If you fail to appear as scheduled, your application will be considered abandoned". So easy for them to deal with people...

Us too - all of it. Ours came in the mail today. Notice date July 13th, postmarked July 14th, and no update on USCIS site since July 5th.

At the bottom, it says due to limited room in the waiting room, only the applicant should appear. Should we listen to that?

Btw, they sent me NOA the EXACT DAY when I started to worry and posted my question - July 13!!! Coupled with their ability to make appointment without touching the case - that makes them psychics!!! So, people who still wait - start to worry, they will feel it.

Sukimi, I don't know if we can try to bring smbody with us. Maybe we should ask people who already got through this.

Guess what?....We got ours today too!!!! It is for July 25th... Our case for AOS or EAD hadn't been touched since July 6th but our K1 case was touched on July 15th is that weird??? Any way I have a dentist appointment for that time so I won't be going with my husband but in my opinion unless you have to drive them there I wouldn't go. It isn't going to take that long and it is an easy process, its not like an interview so I don't think that we need to worry about not being there. It kinda sucks that even after this appointment we still have to wait months for our next one which would be the interview!! At least all of our timelines are similar so we can help keep eachother posted with processing times!!!

I was planning on taking the day off to go because the appointment is in Newark (at least an hour's drive) and it's a rough trafficky area. I guess I can always wait outside if they don't let me in!

I think if they're only doing biometrics for AOS (as opposed to EAD) they take their time. EAD is supposed to be processed in 90 days after all.

My wife got her Biometrics letter today, we're very happy about it. Our AOS Recieve date was 6-27-06. I think the larger cities could take longer, but im not sure. Good Luck all !

I was planning on doing the same. I'm pretty sure the NOAs for my I-485/I-765 state that you're supposed to take them to the biometrics appointment on them. In reality I'm probably just going to stick my whole GC folder in my bag and take it down, you never can be too prepared.

I am going to take all five NOAs with me (485, 130, 131, 765 and Biometrisc). Just in case.

That's true. I'll probably do the same then!! Thanks
