I got my I-485 NOA on July, 1st with the notice date of June 28th. It has been two weeks already but still no letter for biometrics appointment. My friends got appointment letters within 7-10 days after the notice day, the same I see on the timelines of this forum members. Should I start to worry that my mail got lost somewhere?

I haven't got mine yet, and my NOA1 was the day before yours.

EDIT: I'll admit I'm sharing your anxiety, but it seems for some people it can take a month or 2 months and even more, so I don't think we're in a "unusual" situation yet.

Let's hope for the best then. Do you know what happens if the mail got lost and we do not show up for the scheduled appointment? Will they re-scedule it and send another letter? Or they will consider the petition to be abandoned and close the case?

Our biometrics letter came over 2 months after the NOA. Have patience.

Hey, i got my NOA 1 June 23 and still no biometrics appointment. I was starting to panic too! But just as the others have posted, i guess we just have to be patient.....but geeeeeeeezzz ....i know what you mean when other people we know have gotten their appointment letters in just a few days.... =(

Hi, our AOS noa1 came on the 11th of May and to this date we have heard nothing,you would have thought we would have learned all about patience by now but nope inconsistency appears to run through every stage of this eventful journey.

It varies from person to person and i got my noa1 for 765 and 485 on 5/30/06 and the bio letter 6/20 appointment.

But hasn't been touched since 6/21

I was just worrying about mine too!!! My NOA1 date is June 30th. I haven't received anything yet either. You would think that our patience would be great after the waiting we all went through in the past but I guess when it comes to immigration you can NEVER have enough patience!!! Lets keep eachother updated!!

Just checked uscis website and low and behold I was touched 14TH July,I know I should be glad but

you know the history of immigration

I'm getting nervous too - our NOA dates for everything (EAD, AP, AOS, 130) was 6/29 and we were touched 7/3 and 7/5 and haven't received anything in the mail yet. If it's going to be longer, that's fine, but the mail at my apartment building is so messed up I think there is a 50/50 chance that we won't get the biometrics appt notice (and we really need that EAD as soon as possible!)

I wish they'd update the online status if they make appointments for biometrics or interviews.

sukimi, it sounds like a lot of us are waiting for our biometrics right now who got our NOA1s around the same time. I think they're just being slow right now. If anyone gets their appointment they should post to this thread though.

OK. Got home tonight and my Biometrics appointment was waiting for me. Another hurdle passed.

I think if they're only doing biometrics for AOS (as opposed to EAD) they take their time. EAD is supposed to be processed in 90 days after all.
