If they're carrying Green Tea or even some Trimate I'd gladly go to keep the bags.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Nobody gets to teabag me for free. It'll cost them dearly.

Nice post, Bill. Yesterday, I actually looked online to see if one was close to my home and it looks like all they are doing is planning to counter protest Democratic Town Halls. I suppose I could act like a lunatic right back at them.

Excellent idea.

...or go to the meetings and hand out Green Tea Bags.

I looked at the website trying to find the 9 principles and 12 values. The closest I came was a mission statement with a LINK to the 9 principles...and that link directed to a page that had been removed. If anyone knows where to find the info, I'd appreciate the link.

Where the f#ck were the tea parties when public record was against invading Iraq, when Congress was against it, and the UN was against it?

Spending billions of tax dollars to invade a foreign country isn't worth rallying the morally and ethically correct Patriots to action...but a Black President...well, you can clear your schedule to address that problem.

Ahh Ling, ling, your fantasy lingers.

Instead of me picking a Democrat leader and posting their support for the war.... why don't you pick a leader and I will post his words.

Ahhh Danno, avoiding the truth again.

The question is....were YOU in support of the war. Were all the people going to the tea parties in support of the war?

Why were your schedules so busy then...that you couldn't have a gathering of the minds?

What Truth am I avoiding? I supported the war.

Now speaking of "Avoiding" my friend.... tell me what Leader of the left did not?

One of the few that I know of was Ron Paul but all the Dems were beating the drum.. even GORE.

Tea bagging parties are the Special Olympics in the political arena. We should support them. Those folks are "special".

Not only "special" but "growing" and by leaps and bounds.....

Seems everyone wants to Teabag Obama now, "don't knock it till you try it".

Growing? Doesn't make it any better. Remember, cancers are growing, too.

And for that latter claim, that small band of retards that joins these tea parties is hardly everyone.

But only because Tony Blair and ####### Cheney lied to them all. Actually, I feel most wars are mistakes.

Well, they don't have professional paid protesters like the left. No ACORN or union thugs. That makes it special to me.

I'm at a TEA party now. 90% of the signs are home made.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

You supported WHAT war? What does an Iraqi uniform look like? What constitutes a war? Ever heard of a thing called an act of war? Did Congress approve any war? Were we attacked by Iraq?

If Bush needed 9-11 trillion dollars for his war, there would have been a lot of angry protesters, believe it.

The Iraq war didn't even cost us 1 trillion - just over 600 billion - almost a rounding error in this President's budget.

How about lives? How many lives for a non-war is acceptable? How many sons, daughters, mothers, and fathers need to die for a non-war before people get angry and protest? Please stop calling it a war. Wars are something that the US Congress has to approve. Wars are something that can be won. All we have in Iraq are very expensive losses. Losses that can NEVER be replaced. American blood was shed for something that is NOT a war, and something that I personally was never in favor of.

That also does not factor in the cost of rehabilitation that many will need for the rest of their lives.

Let alone the damage to America's reputation. I made the mistake once of saying I support the US war in the London, nearly got beat up by half the pub. I seriously had to say I was joking to get everyone off my back.

There are opposing views on this, you now. There's more cost than the upfront appropriations which is all the 600bn figure represents.

The Iraq War Will Cost Us $3 Trillion

War costs could total $1.6 trillion by 2009, panel estimates...The total war costs could grow to $3.5 trillion by 2017, the committee estimated.
