Guyz, anyone gone through the hassle of getting a Pakistani police certificate made in Ontario?? or in Toronto to be specific. Plz tell me how much time does it take?

Police certificates from some countries are considered unobtainable. Pakistan is one of those countries. You won't be required to have it.

Hey I just checked out that link and USA was on the list of them not being available.. So I am assuming that eventhough my Fiance was in the US for 6 years she wont need to provide a police report from the US?

You don't need one for the U.S. either

Police certificates from some countries are considered unobtainable. Pakistan is one of those countries. You won't be required to have it.

yes you are required to have a police report from pakistan. we submitted this 2 times... :P

I am glad this question was posted, I was actually going to ask the same question. I am confused now, some say you need one, some say you don't....who can we contact to find out for sure....does anyone know? My fiance is originally from Pakistan, but he has not resided there, accept for about 8 months, since he was 16 years old. If we do have to get the Pakistan Police Report, how do we go about getting that? Any help would be greatful, thank you.

I think because he is out of the country. it would not be required because, its hard as hell to get one.

you have to basicly grease someones hand to obtain one. in that instance I would be calling the embassy you are going through to verify. Islamabad required it in our case and they also verfied it wil the local police. soon my husband has to get yet another one because they are only good for 3-6 months. we been on AP for 11 months now. :yes:

I have been following your situation, I hate that you guys are having such a hard time. 11 months is terrible to be stuck in the dark.. We were in security checks at the beginning stages for almost 6 months and I thought that was bad. I am going to keep you in my thoughts in prayers that your AP resolves soon. Good luck to you and yours. Thanks again for the info, I think I will email the US Embassy in Korea to find out what they require, hopefully they will not want it.

You may also contact the Pakistani Consulate in Toronto. They may be able to give you instructions on how to obtain a P. Cert.

I just found this website - I was looking at some of the South Korea forms and this website was on them. http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/reciprocity/index.htm.. When you go to Pakistan is states the applicant can get their police report at no charge by contacting their District Coordingating Office, but it could take up to three months????? Does anyone know what this may be referring to? Thank you, any help would be appreciated...

I went to the Pakistani Consulate in Toronto. After filling out the forma nd everything, I gave it to the person and he told me that it would take about 3-4 months to get them as they come from Pakistan and as I know, Pakistani police is too slow on paper work.

yes you are required to have a police report from pakistan. we submitted this 2 times... :P

can u tell me this mail i got on JULY 18 after replying the RFE imbra states the document we mad based on the approval or registration of this case mailed directly to the person to whom issued. {These are the exact words stated in the email what it means that they going to send me a second RFE as in uscis information written they are sending second RFE to alot of petitioner of I-129F but mostly are getting approval without second RFE which have filed their case in may as mine was or u think it is in the process of approval.

Secondly uptill today JULY 27, 2006 i have not received mailed by uscis and still waiting so how long we had to wait it now 09 passed so what u advice

Last but not the least can u help that how long it takes to get the police certificate from PAKISTAN as ur spouse had gone through that procedure. Looking forward for ur answers
