3. i am going for my medical and my interview is supposed to be scheduled within the next 8 weeks (approx).

4. my father is handling most of the paperwork

i am wondering when i do go to montreal what sort of interview questions will i be asked?

do i have to come prepared with any certain paperwork?

the time will come sooner then later and i just want some heads up to make sure i am prepared.

Im not sure what kind of paper work if any you would need, might want to ask your parents? or maybe someone in the forums knows what you need.

But as for questions they ask, just kind of the usual things about where your parents live, what you plan on doing there, carefull with that one and if they ask if you are going to work make sure to say that when you have the legal ability to work or something to that effect. I know with K-1 visa they ask if you plan on working and you more or less have to say " yes when i get EAD or green card " cus for us working before that is not legal. but its just basic things. they may ask how your parents are, what their jobs are, where you are going to live etc. its alot like just a conversation bcause they are looking through your file and looking at their computer. Dont be to worried =)

When your interview is scheduled, you should be sent a notice confirming your interview date. That notice should have information on what types of documents they require from you.

What type of visa would this be? An F1? There is someone here in the forums who just went through the F1 process and is interviewing in Montreal in a few weeks. Perhaps talking to him would help you out! Its mikey78.

Interviews for fiance and spousal visas usually revolve around the nature of the relationship between the USC and the intending immigrant. Since there really is no question of visa fraud in this case, I would guess the questions would be mostly logistical. So, like Inky said, they probably just want you to confirm your information, and ask you what your intentions are in the US, what you intend on doing, why you would like to move, what your relationship with your father is like, etc. I really wouldn't be to concerned!

Yep, I am in F1...I will write a review after my interview. But from what I heard and read it is very simmilar to CR/IR interview except we do not have to worry about bona fide relationship to our parents ;) birth certificate has it all.

But if your father who sponsors you is not a US citizen you must be in F2B category...if your father becomes a citizen you can upgrade your petition to F1. Anyways, it all goes by priority date so just look up Visa Bulletin.
