Is it normal for the case status to change to this after we have sent off the RFE:

Receipt Number: xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed.

On September 11, 2009, we received your response to our request for evidence. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case is at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

Best of Luck. Best wishes. Thank you.

Yes - this says your information was received and they have resumed work on your case. If you didn't receive this then it would be an issue

As long as it a good sign and hopefully an approval is imminent.

YES, ITS VERY GOOD. Now as with me, my approval did not come right away, give it 30 days then call to just check on status. Mine took 57 days to be approved after they sent me the email of evidence received case resumed processing.......... but my case was 'Unique".

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

I do not want to wait 57 days until I receive a approval. Figures crossed approval is imminent

I really doubt you have to wait that long, but give it 30 days then call, even the letter says WITHIN 60 days a decision will be made in your case.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

RFE sent back to California on 08/09/09

I129F status changed to RFE received and case resumed processing on 11/09/09

I130 status changed to Approved on 14/09/09

Until then I130 case status didn't change and remained as Case status: Received and Pending

I129f status changed throughout from case received & pending to Request RFE to RFE received.

Best of Luck. Best wishes. Thank you.

No.

I-129F RFE(s) : 2009-08-28

RFE Reply(s) : 2009-09-08

I-129F NOA2 : 2009-09-14

My status for I-129F didn't change from RFE received to Approved.

My status for I130 changed from Pending to Approved. On-line case status is not 100%

When I130 status changed to approved on 14/09/09, my I-129F status didn't change to approved. My wife received 2 NOA's in the on Saturday 19/09/09. NVC received my petition on 18/09/09 but I didn't get the case number until, today, 21/09/09

Best of Luck. Best wishes. Thank you.

Going off my time line, I think your status will change to Received RFE any day now and an approval notice some point this week. But, my on-line status didn't change to approved, I received the notice visa the post, that's how I found out.

All the best

Best of Luck. Best wishes. Thank you.
