question about barcode for I-864 package

We are currently prepering I-864 package and I know we must write our case # on each paper that we are sending.

I'm wondering if everybody created a barcode and stick it to the each paper or did u guys just wrote it down by hand.

you print only one cover sheet with the bar code and attach it on the front of I-864. you write down with pen/pencil on every single page ur NVC number

Definately don't need to make a barcode for each paper.

to add to ani's post: i was told to write the NVC number on the upper right hand corner of every single page you're sending.

You should not write directly on original documents, like the certificates for your IV package. Write the case number on a post it note and stick that on there.

The barcode is only for the first page - the cover page.

You've received some great advice.

I'd like to add to that....you may also want to use a 2 hole punch and ACCO style fasteners which allow for easily manageable, secure and temporary binding of your package. It's ALWAYS a good idea to include a cover sheet detailing what's in the package...and if you want to go the extra step to make it easier for examination...you can purchase removable stickers (like at a bank signing) that can identify each section or page as appropriate. If you make it easy to find your documents, it's much easier for them to review them, approve your case, and get your spouse home where they belong.
