I am getting ready to file my AOS and for the medical part (had to get a TB skin test to avoid an RFE, as one was not given in Canada for my original one (I'm 7 months pregnant)), but on the medical forms it asks for my A#.

Is this the number at the bottom of my K-1 visa. There's a number that starts with A under who the petitioner is, and it is 8 digits. Is this it???

Thanks, as I need to pick up my medical and have to give them this number at that time.

No the A# is not listed on the visa but rather it is listed on the NOA2 notice that you received for your original I-129F petition. It is also sometimes written on the back of the I-94

my A number is ON the visa under all the information it says A# and it is 8 digits. Its also writen on my I-94 by the POE. You can find it on the NOA2 as well

forgot to add, canada does do TB test but they test by doing the XRay not the skin test.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

The A# (Alien Registration Number) is on the Visa and on the NOA2/Approval Notice as well.

Thanks Inky for clarifying the A#. I know too that Canada does the x-ray, but being pregnant I was obviously waived from having it, so lucky me, I had to pay $ for a second medical in the States to have the skin test done to avoid the RFE. Oh well, anything for the AOS. Good luck on your AOS and congrats on the wedding.
