If you are in Israel's shoes.....what do you do? 2 of your soldiers have just been kidnapped and others have been killed by a renegade terrorist organization that crossed the border and brought this conflict to you.

The same countries that condemn Israel's response also condemn the terrorist actions.......ok great....condemnation all over the place and no solutions.

Well.. I'll tell you what I wouldn't do, I wouldn't bomb an international airport and then kill over 100 people for the sake of 2 soldiers that are probably still alive. Israel had an unwillingness to negotiate.. and unfortunately all the violence has became so circular that it's a neverending downward spiral.

That still doesn't answer the question. If you are Israel what do you do? Negotiate and turn over prisoners? If they do that then what is to stop these terrorists from abducting more soldiers and demanding the release of criminals?

Your comment suggests that they should have negotiated.....negotitated what? People crossed the border and took their soldiers hostage.....on what grounds should they have to negotiate?

see.. now this is where a lot of problems come in, .. American and Israeli lives have much more of a higher value placed on them.. 100,000 die in Iraq? that gets 2 minutes of media coverage... 2 Israelis or Americans get taken hostage and the world gets 24/7 coverage on their status and whereabouts.

And as sad as it is, I watched some news coverage... shows Israel and Lebanon fighting back and forth.. and the newsperson asks.. What can America do ? the first thing I thought, is they could like.. stop funding the Israeli military.. geez..

i don't see it as a problem at all. there is a country that allows a terrorist organization to live and operate within its borders, and israel is attempting to rescue its citizens.

if you want to show some outrage, start with lebanon for allowing those animals to stay within the country even though lebanon agreed to kick them out in the past. and also spread some of that outrage to syria and iran for supporting that band of terrorists.
