Just to give an update...

I just finished my 2 day medical exam at SLEC with the "phlegmy throat" back on the 1st day. I'm so happy to say though that I passed the medical exam.

Thanks everyone!!! Now I really need to get ready for my interview.

Congratulations! When is your interview? :)

Thanks!

I don't have an interview date yet but I'm hoping for the 19th of the month if I can have it. I called yesterday at USEM, the agent said I'm not eligible to schedule an interview date yet. I'll try to call again tomorrow.

I saw from your timeline that yours will be tomorrow...Goodluck! Bring home the pink!!!

That is good that you got the medical exam out of the way now. My fiancee Pat went to Manila to get her medical and visa interview one week apart. The problem was there was a scar on a lung. So the interview had to be canceled to wait on the 8 week sputum test. They do a three day check to find the TB bacteria so treatment can be started, but if it is negative like Pat's she still has to wait until the 8 weeks is up to make sure.

Good luck to you on the visa interview,

Dale

Thanks. My fiance and I really planned to have my medical asap so in case we bump into a problem with my X-ray result, the 2 months delay won't keep us from me getting to him before Christmas. Now , I've got Oct. 21st interview schedule, if nothing goes wrong, I might be in his arms before the Nov.

Wish me luck!!!

Hello to all!

My fiance and I are still waiting for our NOA2 but we're planning ahead...

Anyways, I'm nervous about the X-ray test. I had a persistent cough from May to July. It wasn't really so bad. It's just that there were times I had cough attacks especially when it's so warm here. Since I'm not into taking chemically-prepared medicines, I didn't consult a doctor and I've taken herbal medicines only. Now, I'm worried that it might affect the X-ray result when the time comes.

I'm just curious about the people here who had a problem with their X-ray results at St. Lukes...Are you aware of the reason why you had the problem? If so, what was it?

Are there people here who had the same issue as mine? Did it cause a problem in your X-ray result?

I'm thinking of taking a chest X-ray before I take my medical exam though I'm not sure how helpful will it be since I've read in some posts here that the X-ray machine at SLEC is more advanced than the usual X-ray machines being used in others and that it has the ability to see something which other X-ray machines can't.

Thanks :)

worry no more friend...u made it...u passed ur medical...congratulations!
