Does touch day after NOA2 mean it got sent to NVC?

Hi everyone,

We got another touch today (day after NOA2). Does that mean that our file was sent to NVC today? Thanks!

12/18/12 - Send N-400 package to Phoenix Lockbox!

12/21/12 - Delivered and signed for by Fernando Dominguez

12/24/12 - E-mail notification that file sent to NBC (now able to check case status online!)

12/28/12 - E-mail notification that biometrics notice was sent!

01/08/13 - Biometrics!

04/02/13 - Interview! Passed!

May 2013 - Oath Ceremony!

I think strange things are going on at VSC.

Maybe they are rushing cases out.

I got an amended notice, and one other member here got the same, and we both have the same NOA1 dates and notice dates 9/10/2009.

05/28/2009 - I-129F Received by VSC

05/29/2009 - NOA1 Date & mailed by VSC

06/02/2009 - Check Cashed by VSC

06/03/2009 - Got Case Number from back of canceled check image

06/04/2009 - Received NOA1, postmarked 06/02/2009

09/10/2009 - Amended Notice I-797 Email?

09/15/2009 - NVC Received file

09/16/2009 - NOA2 Hardcopy received!

09/17/2009 - NVC sent file to consulate

09/25/2009 - Consulate received hardcopy file

What do you mean by amended notice?

Ours just says:

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On September 10, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

What do you mean by amended notice?

Ours just says:

I noticed the same thing with mine today. (I was NOA2 approved yesterday). Planning to call NVC next week to check on status.

AOS Phase

January 11, 2010: - Mailed AOS packet (I-485/ I-765/ I-131)

January 13, 2010: - Chicago received AOS packet

January 19, 2010: - Received 3 NOA email

January 20, 2010: - Check cashed[/color]

January 22, 2010: - Received 3 NOA hardcopies in the mail1st touch I-485, I-765 & I-131

February 01, 2010: - Touch - I-765 (EAD)

February 08, 2010: - Touch - I-485

February 08, 2010: - Case moved to CSC

February 13, 2010: - Received Biometrics Appointment Letter (After a long wait!)

February 15, 2010: - Touch - I-485 & received e-mail that case is now pending

March 09, 2010: - Biometrics completed, Touch - I-765 (EAD)

March 10, 2010: - Touch - I-485 & Another Touch - I-765 (EAD)

March 17, 2010: - EAD Card Production, Touch - I-131 (AP) & I-1765 (EAD)

March 19, 2010: - Touch - I-485 & Another Touch - I-765 (EAD)

March 19, 2010: - Received AP in mail

March 25, 2010: - Received EAD in mail

I think so. I will call on Wednesday next week. That should give me 3-4 working days after my NOA2 was sent out.

Mine got touched 4 days after (due to the weekend + labor day), I assume it's CSC sending it out.

I'm not sure yet cause we're not calling till Monday.

I don't feel like rushing into calling them, since if we wait long enough, maybe it'll be sent out by then.
