Morning MENA!

Im still sick, Zaid is sick, Sofyan is sick. Its pretty awful :( Im gonna go into work late today but I have to be there until 8pm anyways so my friday blows. Sofyans birthday is Monday and I have no idea what to get him. I wanted something "daddy" related but stuff is hard to find for him. Clothes are out bc all he wears is black tshirts and jeans, literally, and I refuse to buy him more. I thought about jewelry but Im not sure what. Any Ideas?

I have the perfect gift....A trip to Arizona!:devil:

What about finding a photographer and giving him a "daddy" package. Basically just him and Zaid getting their own photo session. You can find great packages and photographers on Craigslist (that how we found Leslie who did the twins bday) or even just JC Penney or Sears, etc. Just a thought.

Or a few favorite colognes, trip to az, a massage/facial (they have men packages), trip to az, a subscription to Netflix or Blockbuster, etc (if he enjoys movies), trip to az, tickets to his favorite sport team, ... just some thoughts.

Can you tell what I really want you to give him? :innocent::blush: (with all of you of course..plz don't just send him....toooo many men in this house already! lol)

Angie that is fantastic!!!

i don't think 126 is too thin, I think it is the size alot of women would strive to be.

It is a healthy in shape size.

Any size can be a "healthy in shape size" if you eat healthily and exercise. You don't have to be skinny to be healthy.

Love your bodies, people!

Just sayin.' :)

no you don't have to be skinny to be healthy, but there are normal body fat ranges, and ranges that are too little or too high... to be in the normal range, and to exercise and eat well, that's being healthy. Someone could be skinny just because they have high metabolism, but rather they don't eat well or exercise--that's not healthy.

I agree you should love your body, but you should always strive to attain the best body for you... the healthiest body for you (depending on your height, body fat, eating/exercising habits, and family history of disease.) It's not a good idea to hold unhealthy habits and weight, and to settle on loving that.

I hope no one takes any offense to this. I myself am striving to be healthier.

My point is, you can love the self that you are now, accept the shape that you are now, work on bettering yourself in whatever way you wish to do so, and still be an active participant in life. It drives me crazy when I see girls of various sizes out there refusing to ski/swim/dance/buy-that-cute-dress-or-short-skirt because they're waiting to lose 10/25/50/100lbs. You can end up wasting a lot of time that way. :)
