Awesome a1angied! Power to you! and congrats on the weight loss! I started going to the gym for about the past month and it really felt good until Ramadan came around and it's really not cool to be running and not be able to drink water. So I either go a little bit before iftar so i can drink water right after, or I just don't go. I'm waiting for Ramadan to end so I can at least work out as often as I used to :(. I'm a size 12 now and really need to get down to an 8. :D It'll happen soon!

Hey all! It's Friday - but a melancholy one at that. I really think that 9/11 should be a national holiday. It just feels wrong that it's so significant and yet now it seems like *poof* life goes on, which I don't think it should be so forgotten. Hmmmmm.

Kelly, why not get Sofyan a "Z" charm for his necklace (I think I saw him in one of your pics with one???) Correct? No? We gave my hubby's mom an E charm for Enzo. She loved it. That way it's a gift with a sentimental purpose too.

Happy Friday!!!

Bridget - sorry its crazy for you today, even from home. We were thinking about getting a computer and internet connection for my almost 85 year old grandma. But we decided the learning curve would be too high. Shiit - it was high for me this week when I go my first iPod.

Bridget, I agree about the older ppl/computer issue. My mother is 62 and should not be allowed near one. She has no clue what she's doing and gets real impatient when someone isn't at her beck and call to help. She also owns a "digitizer" which is a computerized embroidery machine. No clue with that either. Whomever intro'ed her to that needs to be shot.

You'll both appreciate this then. I just got back from there and there's something wrong with the wireless router but for whatever insane reason when they set it up comcast gave them both a modem and a router. I have fios and it's all in one but they can't get that in their area even though it's less than three minutes away, but I digress. While I was there my mother told me that someone keeps sneaking into their internet. I asked how do you know that and she said that it gives her a message that someone is on. She showed me it because she wrote it down.

.

.

.

wait for it

.

.

it's my dad's computer! And she even called the police to report it because she got so fed up with it and felt it just isn't right for someone to be stealing the use of their internet!:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

i dunno, now i want them to keep it. i'm bored and this is very entertaining! don't get me started with cellphones though. she doesn't know how to answer hers, only knows how to call out and forget about voicemail!

I don't think the day is forgotten. I think ppl just had to learn to get on with their lives after this tragic event. There have been so many horrible events in the past that I'm fairly sure that most of the year would be holidays if we marked each event down to remember. I hope that doesn't sound too..un-caring...

Today sucks, but I'm thanking God for my life and health and that he has allowed me yet another day to be a witness to all of his creations. AF has really got my hormones outta whack and I'm beetchy as all get out and there's NOTHING I can do to stop it... It's kinda like that song "I just wanna be mad for awhile" lol

Angie that is fantastic!!!

i don't think 126 is too thin, I think it is the size alot of women would strive to be.

It is a healthy in shape size.

Kelly what about a Playstation game or CD?

I think tickets to a sports event or concert of someone he really likes is good.

I think men are hard to buy for, at least mine is

Anita...I just got my first iPod at Christmas. I am always like 2-3 years behind the latest technology.

I still don't even know how to use iTunes. The iPod was given to me with someone else's junk on it.

I have yet to delete what i don't want and upload what I do

well if you have a stuffy nose, having some spicy chinese food might clear up the congestion lol... but on a more serious note, soup sounds like a good idea for you. About the throat hurtage... i've got some of that going on now too :(, i've been coughing a bit and sneezing... my sister just got over her cold, and my dad started a few days ago... I am suing them if I get sick. hehe

You know it's funny but I'm not even hungry. I usually make dinner just because I know hubby only has one meal (other than his two oreos and tea in the morning) each day for whatever reason and then I eat it 'cause it's there. No wonder I've gained weight since he got here!:angry: He's sooooooooooooooo happy right now. I just talked to him and he's on the way to his barber. lol. He misses his barber so much! That cracks me up, I don't know why.

I found some programs on the history channel that are 9/11 related and a few others. I dvr'd them and am watching one about how much money the widows got. That must have been so difficult to determine who gets how much, you know?

the problem with national holidays is people will use it as an excuse to drink beer and bbq vs. remember (not that there is anything wrong with beer and bbqs). in israel on their equivalent of memorial day the whole country observes a full few minutes i forget how many of silence. and people really do it, they pull over to the side of the road bow their heads and its just amazing. after that its back to work as normal vs. celebration. however its a little different when the country is the size of new jersey, i cant see something liek that happening all over the US>

Adams not feeling well today. I think I posted along time ago about his blood pressure before. He gets dizzy, loss of balance and somewhat low blood pressure. Before we moved to Texas it happened so he went to the doctor and had blood work and also an EKG for his heart. Everything came back fine. Not sure why every now and then he looses balance and feels weak.

Im about to see about making apple crisps for everyone here. Havent done that in a LONG time. :star:

My moms yorkies are about to have puppies soon. I feel sorry for the little dogs. They are little dogs having little dogs!
