Ok I apologize in advance. Today I had such a bad day and I just want to be held by Deus. I was accepted into grad school today which is great but I could not stop crying. I still have not called Deus to tell him my great news because of the time difference. I was sitting in the bathroom at work crying and I could not figure out why. I have been so caught up with everything else in my life I did not realize that today represents six years since my mother moved on to heaven. This is one of those days that makes me realize how much I want him hear to hold me. I am trying to be strong but the tears will not stop flowing. I know there is nothing you guys can do I just look at you as a part of my extended family now. This is really I hard journey to have to go through alone. :crying:

I totally understand those feelings and had my share of them during our seperation. The friends on VJ were the only ones who truly understood how I felt. You arent alone... (F)

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

First, congratulations on your acceptance to Grad School.

It's more than ok to feel sad when the ones you want near you are so far away. Your feelings are important. Hang in there. I hope you hear good news soon about your husband and will be together very soon.

awwwww natay, I'm so sorry. I know how hard it can be. My late husband passed away 5 years ago, and since meeting Tim, I always found it hard we weren't together. Especially since the date is July 4th and I really want to celebrate it with Tim. It would be a good change of how I normally feel that day. Next year however, we'll be together. It will come...hang in there.

That's great news about grad school!! I'm sure that's got to be exciting for you. You'll get so busy preparing for that, the rest of your journey is going to go fast! Best wishes for all of it.

I know that sometimes even good news sometimes seems to put the mentos in the coke. Especially when you wish you had your loved ones there to share these moments with you... Getting into grad school must be such a joy and relief and sometimes, when all that stress is bottled up, it comes out one way or another.... Add that to that the stress of this process and BAM!!! The perfect recipe for a sloppy pity party in your honor... :jest:

But seriously, big changes in life trigger big responses (good and bad)... Just keep in mind the positive things coming your way and take everything one day at a time. I know that my dad, despite he is not here with me anymore, still keeps track of what I am doing :innocent:

Congratulations and look ahead! Godd things comin your way!!
